The run back is seriously pissing me off. This fight could have been one of the best in the game if they just put a stake of Marika outside of his arena. I want to keep fighting the boss to get better at it but the run back is seriously killing the experience for me.
@@Kyle-f5u with the elevator you take it down & then just as you get off it run over the switch to send it back up ready for your next respawn. No levers required! (Guess you don't need this advice now though. 🤣)
I love how the second phases in elden, the boss really throughs every thing at you like they are trying to survive and not be beaten. Like that serpent dude. Had skulls flying everywhere and exploding. Truly a wonderful game!
I tried to complete as much of this game as i possibly could and i somehow missed this guy. I looked up all the bosses after and he's pretty much the only one i didn't get.

This is definitely one of the hardest bosses in the game that I’ve attempted. I wish it was easier, even with my character being at level 166 it’s still so damn hard.
Oh come on this isn't fair. I killed the boss with no problem but I died in the end and lost all my ruins that I just obtained. Such bad luck for me like I didn't even see how much I got from it. Can someone please be kind enough to tell me how much you get from it.😭 That will at least make me feel better when I'm starting my new game plus.
@@Spacecowboyy69 thank you so much like really I was wondering about that. Now I know that I lost 2 levels instead of one but it's okay. At least I know how to handle the great dragon in my next play through so when I see that thing I'll make it pay for my lost ruins. I could have been level 161 right now. 🥺

You might have the effects of the furlcalling finger remedy still in effect. If you were trying to summon other players or something from before this fight you won't be able to use ashes. You'd have to rest at a site of grace to get rid of the effects and then you'll be able to use them.
And that again proves the worth of basic luck. Having it or not makes the difference between being grilled by the laser beams like a fresh plucked chicken or being able to continue the fight

Totally random and cheap how you can do the whole fight flawlessly and then have him swoop down and one shot you. Souls bosses are generally never cheap but that absolutely is.
Suprised you didn't show us how to kill it with magic as per all your other videos, cause all you seem to do is stand there and spam spell after spell with no real skill
You would be missing out on a phenomenal game. This particular build is for magic and range, but you can have a melee build for close combat and would be harder in some instances
When you’re playing a magic build, you’re right. But if you have a strength/dexterity build (melee) then it’s really fun and really tests your skill and resilience. The really hard bosses you die to so much that you have remembered every single one of their moves and you feel like a badass when you dodge pretty much all of their attacks. I highly recommend this game.
That is your call, if you want to judge an entire game this size on one fight. That's your loss. If you ever play it, you might understand why he spams a move here and there.
