The turtle shell being a shield made me really miss Onikiri and Ubadachi from DS3. No way to do dual katanas and have the shield on your back for max cosplay.
Just discovered your channel over the last few weeks and now I cant miss a video. I've been going back and binge watching your older videos and also can't stop watching your level from pvp series. You are extremely entertaining!
Great video Chase, but what's truly "chilling" is the sheer amount of damage and versatility the St.Trina's Torch has, looking forward to you definitely using it soon :)
Wizards mentioned at least 1 times: 16:14 You're a Wizard Since I started counting there were 2860.2 mentionings of Wizards across 244 videos. Bonus: 04:30
I actually beat Malenia with this weapon + ash of war combo! It's very very strong in my opinion and chilling mist covers so many weaknesses with the greatsword, as well as playing to it's strengths. Would highly recommend even for PvE
Same, even on my faith build I'd have it for a hardswap chilling mist just to Frost proc. On my low.lvl faith the Frost infuse does good damage still as well with no int investment. But lately been using a Frost infused hally.
Ive run a build like this but with Poison Mist since they share the same animation and rollcatch potential. SInce its part of the Occult Ashes you can Bleed infuse the Colossal Sword and the Arc Scaling buffs the poison too. You can also proc both Lord of Blood and the Kindred of Rot talismans and get hilarious amounts of damage.
2:45 Host running at Chase just to get hit in the face and bent backwards. 4:29 One hit plunge attack. The summon is still wondering what hit him. 5:26 Chase rubbing some salt in opponent's wounds. 11:20 Host looking for Chase, never expecting that spawn point. Great video with some hilarious scenes.😂
4:29 I saw this and immediately imagined just these 3 people relaxing after beating the RR and then a man with a giant sword comes down and splits there friend in half while launching
It's not that I hate Chilling Mist on the GGsword, it's just that it feels criminal not to have Giant Hunt on it. I like a Cold infuse so that I can get that frost proc on the Hunt.
Cool build. I like the reasoning behind going pure physical - makes sense. Blows my mind how many low hp hosts and phantoms are getting about at the moment, and yet they’re still willing to trade great weapons. I’ve been prepping up my PVE characters for DLC pvp, and I must say, gee I hope there’s some more armour sets that let me hit 88 poise in the DLC. There’s such little opportunity for fashion at the moment. I really don’t want to run around looking like I’m cosplaying you. No offence.
There was a time (around a year ago) when crouch R1 from a Colossal Sword into Pulleye was a true combo. Using that with sleep bolts was truly evil because it basically led into a free jumping R2. I killed so many hosts with that lmao.
Been watchin chase for a few years and i would be hard pressed name anyone that is better at pvp.. I would love to see a pvp tourny with the best pvpers.. my money would be on chase
Build idea. Sleepy Javelin. Basically use soporofic greese on a Partisan with an occult affinity and the spectral lance AoW. The primary stats being arcane of course.
I got you homie. Vagabond RL139 Vigor - 52 Mind - 16 Endurance - 30 Strength - 32 Dexterity - 22 Intelligence - 50 Faith - 9 Arcane - 7 Night Cavalry or Blaidd Armor Sets Eclipse Greatshield Staff of Loss Carian/Glintblade Staff Helphen Steeple Death Ritual Spear Darkmoon Greatsword Death's Poker Royal Greatsword Wing of Astel Bastard's Stars Ruins Greatsword Family Heads Fallingstar Beast Jaw Could always swap some INT out for HP and STR. Also the forbidden torch for a Night Knight (two fingers heirloom)
The spawn next to the white scarab talisman behind the illusory wall has to mean the game has some kind of dynamic spawning system for phantoms, right? Like, there's no way any right minded individual actually put a spawn point back there, and I know you can spawn in that hallway in front of the illusory wall, so that's got to be the only way that could happen right? Makes me wonder if that's why they gave invaders phantom bloody fingers, but makes even less sense why they didn't give a similar item to blues so they could respawn at will. Very interesting but confusing
Ultragreat vid! Can't wait to see your vids about Shadows of the Erdtree. How do you think, do they change existing weapons in the future, or just add a new ones? Also, can you try something unusual for builds?
Don’t know if you’ve done it yet, but I’d like to see a Great Epee vid. It’s what I decided to use it on a new playthrough but I wanna see what you pair it with.
11:11 NO WAY INVADER SPAWN BEHIND ILLUSORY WALL, wow that’s so cool. I hope that’s intentional on Fromsoft but even if u spawned there on accident that just shows how cool and random the game can be. Imagine you and your buddy are fishin for an illusory wall, and Chase is waiting for them 😂
Also, the low hp gang is showing up because the dlc was showcased so a standard influx of new players is naturally gonna increase activity for the next few weeks. I just got a new pc and I can't wait to play myself
I drop yellow signs on pc, and can confirm it is the same there! I'm here with 1900hp and 45% defences, they have the 500hp they started the game with, and a pretty wizards hat.
Man i’m boutta rebuy elden ring just to sweat on pvp again😂 i spent like at least 600+hrs just doing pvp and shittin on people watching you fight people just reminded me of how much fun i had
I do wonder if a lot of the low HP kings you're encountering are lower level password summons. Obviously the host has to be 180-240 for a level 200 to invade them so there's really no excuse for the hosts not to be rocking a decent amount of HP but maybe their mates are like 100-120 and being password summoned? You can still easily have 50+ vig on a build at that level but it's more of a sacrifice, and I think password summoning only debuffs higher level players and doesn't buff low level ones.
