Elden Ring | How to Get ELEONORA'S POLEBLADE Full Quest & Location Guide - Amazing Dex & Arc Weapon! 

For everyone that's having a difficult time having him spawn at the church make sure you go back to the bridge and exhaust all of his dialogue before you continue if he is still on the bridge after you rest at a Grace site you still need to talk to him a little bit more

For those of us who passed up on this and now are stuck late game. Have no fear, simply go to the church where she would spawn normally and she should spawn regardless of doing the quest. Or if this is a result of me atleast killing the invader that drops Reduvia, kill him and return to the church.

“Second church of Marika located over here” a map location would be nice man!!

important note: you actually don't have to defeat any boss to get to the atlus platueau, as long as you obtain the left and right medallion you can get there

I actually killed yura for his nagakiba but still ended up killing all the invaders listed in this video. I just today stumbled on the invader that drops this weapon and still got it even though yura was dead in my playthrough. Sweet!

Years ago when I first played Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate your guides were so helpful then and they still are VERY helpful to this day keep up the awesome work and I appreciate this guide and all your other ones too

I actually didn't know this weapon existed until I killed the last boss and yura had long died ago at the beginning of my playthrough and I never gave a second thought about. I went to that second church of Marika and the invader still came and I got the twin blade.

I actually killed him for his hat waaaay after when I arrived at the mountain top of the giants, you don’t even need his quest you just gotta get invaded by the npc that drops it, hope this helps!

So for those who have said they have done the quest for Yura (up to you saving him at the academy) and proceeded to the church, but had another NPC boss spawn there. I had the same thing happen. Upon entering the church I initially did not see Yura and instead the other scarlet looking npc popped up. I defeated him and went back to a site of grace then returned to the church hoping it would respawn Eleonora. But nothing happened A SOLUTION THAT WORKED FOR ME is I went back to the academy and spoke with Yura and made sure I exhausted all his talk options. He should say to you that " If you happen to meet Eleonora there is no shame in retreating" (something like that) I returned to the church and he was on the ground like he should be and Eleonora spawned as well. I proceeded to beat her and got the poleblade! Hope this helps others 👍

Read in another comment here, if the NPC/Yura here is dead (mine was, his katana the Nagakiba was at his first location in this video), you can go to the Second Church of Marika, you'll get invaded and the invader is named Eleonora. You'll get the polearm from this invader.

I always see these overcomplicated guides on how to activate the grand lift but it's a simple as getting both halves of the medallion from fort haight and fort faroth, getting the glintstone key, and crossing the bridge through the raya lucaria seals, easy peasy didn't need to beat godrick, scale any cliffs, or go through a cave lol

Went into NG+ and ended up trying to do this quest again to get another nagakiba after already getting to the godefrey fight before radagon. When I started NG+ I went straight to murkwater caves to start the quest (because I forgot you have to talk to him first) and ended up killing the invader couldn’t find him after then came to this video to remember that you have to talk to him under that over pass, but when I got there his nagakiba was sitting where he should’ve been. Is there any explanation to this? Not complaining cause it just saved a lot of time but I’m just confused.

3:46 - if you are late game like I was, and confused on where to go because yura wasn’t able to be found in any location he showed in this video, just skip to this time stamp and go to his blue marker #2, and defeat the bloody finger that spawns to get the poleblade - assuming you have the Atlus Plateau area unlocked. ;)

His Katana was left at the first spot I talked with him and when I was going for all the sacred tears she still appeared at the church for a fight. I also didn’t do the invasion part.

i never spoke to yura or helped him in his invasion but when i went to the 2nd church eleonora still spawned and dropped the weapon so i got super lucky

If he doesn't show up at the church it's because he has more dialogue. He kept repeating the same "thank you" line and for me he said it like 4 times. But after he tells you to be careful of her and to "be on your way," that's when he's at the church

What’s wild is I didn’t meet this samurai character until the end of the game no spoilers. I went to where he was up the river and found his katana. I then went to second church of marika and fought the invader and got the pole arm.

If someone cannot find the red summoning sign on the ground (like me) - you have to activate the statue on the left hand side of the bridge first, the sign will appear then.

Interestingly enough, you don't have to do the questline at all. If you kill Yura when you first meet him, you get the Nagakiba. You will then still get invaded by Eleonora at the Church and can get her poleblade there. The only drawback is missing out on the Ash of War and the smithing stone.

I did a best start ish speed run and got this within two hours and started using it at level 21 wretched, with bare minimum combat. There's also the Scavenger Curved Sword nearby the second church of Marika, another great bleed weapon, get a buddy to drop you a second one and you have a great start to a pvp build with bleed

BTW it's bugged and does not receive damage bonus from attribute scaling. Seems to be the case for a lot of Arcane focused weapons

Make sure you talk to yura after you kill the second enemy in the quest line. If you don't then I'm pretty sure you'll break the quest line like I did because he is not showing up at the second church of marika for me and idk where he is. He isn't at the academy

Hes not dead in the chuirch for me I think its bugged, not sure what to do. some other guy pooped up with a knife in the church and I killed him but that was it no dead Yura.

Just wanted to say that the arcane wepons with busted scaling are now fixed as of this latest patch (1.03). Havent seen it my self in game but the official patch notes are now out.

Just a heads up, I believe this weapon is bugged at the moment. It currently does not receive any damage bonus from stat scaling. Hopefully this is fixed soon! EDIT: It's fixed now guys!

I did the quest and didn’t get his katana or the double bladed one had a whole different boss spawn that dropped nothing

i dont remember doing any of this to get in my first playthrough i just remember looking through my inventory and having it so i thought its a weapon u got from defeating a boss or something

Is it better then the normal twinblade? i play most of my run with it i add blood loss to my twin blade.

Rivers of blood is very fun to play with but I fine myself always drifting back to this twinblade duel wielding the god skin peeler so much fun! And it's a great set up to grab if your having trouble getting past the capital area!

By the way. If you are far enough into the game to the point where he isn’t under that structure in the beginning, there should be a Nagakiba laying there. Then you can head over to the second church of Marika and Eleanora will be there to kill

For everyone who is confused about him spawning at the church - as it seems he no longer spawns there. Instead go back to where he once was on the bridge and the nagikiba should be there.

What level do you have to be roughly to get here? And when you say second boss, you mean second story boss? I like just started playing so I'm still getting my bearings

so i killed the bloody fingers with yora in the invasion and then came to the 2nd church, and a blood boss spawned instead of him being there, then I reset and went BACK there, and he's still not there, not was there an invasion. Did I do something wrong?

does the bleed build up increase with weapon updgrades and by increasing arcane? its bleed buildup is low compared to a standard twinblade with a blood infusion

I unintentionally skipped his quest and at the moment I'm at Giants gravepost, would there still be a way to get this sword?

Eleonora is very tough to fight, had some hard time fightin her Tried many times, various strategies, and then… ive been interrupted, just when she spawn in the church, i received a call and tried to run away while on phone… but she she didnt stop chasing me. So i accidentally fell down the nearby cliff, landed on a rock that stood up half way down. Eleonora jumped after me and died immediately I got killed by some ghost wolved down there right after that because the situation overwhelmed me But… I gained all the loot nonetheless xD I was like… Elden Ring, u must be kiddin me

Can I still get the weapon if I have killed elanora without doing this quest ?? I watched another vid on how to get this weapon and it wasn’t stated it was a quest so I came straight to the second church of marika and killed her. I’ve now done the quest and she doesn’t spawn again and I can’t get the weapon

Heads up everybody who has killed the guy for the sword instead of waiting to get the twin blade all you have to do is go to the church and the invasion will still trigger

For anyone wondering, you can get this weapon from the Invader in Atlus Plateu, Marika second church, kill her and it should drop after you defeat the first invade in the river :).

FOR ANYONE WHO CANT GET ELEANORA TO SPAWN OR CANT FIND YURA - here’s how I did it. I killed the guy for the dagger and was at the second church but couldn’t find yura. I tried what people said in the comments, to go to the academy but the seal wasn’t there for me to touch on the ground. I went back to the church and some other chick just spawned and tried to kill me. What you need to do after beating her is go north from murkwater grace (where you got the dagger) until you find him in between a crevice. Exhaust his dialogue, then go to the academy and the seal will be there on the bridge. After beating the invader, speak to YURA (he will be on the bridge near the seal on the left). And exhaust his dialogue. Once you do that, go back to the church, he’ll die and youll get his weapon and eleanora will invade you. Cheers

i’ve gone all the way to the fire giant that is after u are done with the erd tree capital and i was still able to get the weapon by just visiting the church and waiting for the spawn

I haven’t talked to the guy since before beating godrick and have gotten pretty far into the game, is it too late for me to go back and continue the quest in this play through?
