@@ackthualyimsmarterthanyou7844 well when I got that 15 second i was on journey 2. Now im on like journey 7 or 8 and have stopped playing the game unless people need my help
@@Subpoena1220 I'm just building up my character for the dlc, don't know if I'm gonna take the ending yet, I'm kinda scared that I do, and then the dlc introduces a new ending
Here's a little tip against Mohg When he does his usual combo of swinging attacks, if the first swing of his weapon goes in the air, he will do the next part, after that if his weapon goes into the ground he will do the full combo of attacks. Otherwise the combo stops and you can attack immediately allowing you to hit him multiple times easily. Another tip is that in phase 2 don't stray far from him, always try to be right up in his face or you will be caught in all the blood fire
@@ThatGuyOrby he doesn't, radagon/EB does and Malenia gives more than him. Surely if someone's on their 10th playthrough they really don't need the extra levels and if they do then they already know how to fight mohg easily
@@Bill_9999 You can fight mohg as your second boss while Radagon is the final boss :v. If I want a lot of runes to level up in early game maybe I should go to the easier boss to reach.
I discovered a trick a while back like this. It's the same up until you reach Mohg's arena. Then, you actually stay *in* the arena and attack him. You repeat this until his hp is zero, and shortly after, the game just gives you over 400,000 runes 😮
I’ve fought and beat Mohg legitimately a handful of times… but the temptation to rush him and cheese him for his weapon and souls is too much on most playthroughs. Before it was using Mohg’s shackle 3 times before entering the room, which broke his AI. Now it’s this, which is actually even more fun imo
@@thekingisdead6411 Probably the OP dosen't know what ment afk farm, or pull it off. Plus if i recall they also looked to gut this whole afk farm as a whole
@@nemluka9050 There's a way you can still kill him. You can jump onto the other tombstone and shoot him with bleed, rot, and poison arrows. The arrows won't damage him but the status procs will.
I remember when the game was still new there was a way to get into the arena without starting the boss fight. You had to jump on the gravestones and parkour over the wall and then you would be in the arena with Mohg just standing there doing nothing. One of the easiest cheeses in a fromsoft game
@@pualbaptiste8617 no you *shouldn't* even try reaching max level in most if not any souls games. the level cap is there so they avoid having people be leveling to the millions by using unpatched tricks like these. For example, by level 150-200 you can beat the entirety of DS3 all 7 times over, and it's probably gonna be a piece of cake if you're decently skilled. Plus it takes a bit less than 150 hours to get to around SL200.
Or genuinely develop a strategy to kill him. He's weak to bleed, ironically, and his strong ass AoE undodgable bleed shit has a crystal tear obtainable from the second church of Marika in Altus Plateau which greatly reduces the damage.
I just climbed on top of the tombstones next to the boss gate and shot him until he was down to about 1/8 health ran out of arrows then bonked him to death.
Elden Ring gives so many runes I haven't had a need to farm at all, it's been an interesting experience. Usually farm a little bit but I'm actually blowing my runes on random items just because I don't want to overlevel too much 🤣
I used to do this, but recently i decided to do the fight normally so i deserve the dlc when it releases, and tbh he’s my fav boss now, i already made 5 new characters just to fight him with different builds. My point is, if you do this you don’t know what you’re missing out on
I will never understand how people struggled with him, he never even used that red blood mist move that everyone hates on me so I was able to do it first try
@@kingoftheclunge You absolute clown, did I say I supported this glitch?? I think everyone who glitches to kill a boss is a little pussy who can’t Git Gud. I’m also saying magic has always been easy mode for people with no skill. Never said I didn’t like magic, just said comet azur is broken. Use your fucking brain cells before saying something retarded. Thanks!
I fought the boss first since it's my first playthrough and wanted to experience it, I did beat him, felt proud then did the glitch anyways to get runes from all the normal enemies 😂
But the time it takes to do it makes it not worth it. The most popular Rune Farm will always be the best one. I've tried all these little gimmick ones and none of them compare to killing a few dudes on a hill over and over.
@@aidenc6343 killing all the Albinaurics on that hill I get 100,000. I can do that three time in one minute. So 300,000 a minute. If the trick in the video took 5 minutes that same amount of time on the hill would get me around 1.5 million.
This is actually insane, I've been playing since release and there's not been many huge glitches like these, the last I can recall being as op as this was carian retaliation
therea still alot of places like this throughought the game you can glitch the area by jumping off the map and will get all main items plus a ton of runes. this is one of the newer ones its tough getting down the first ledge. 😅
Only a viable option if you want to skip fighting Mohg. I tested this out and In my experience it takes roughly 30seconds to a minute and a half (more-or-less) of free fall while swinging your weapon for all the enemies to fall through the map and rack up your runes. With golden scarab and golden fowl foot, I got somewhere around 1 mil runes Mohg included. So if you do the simple math it's not ideal to repeat the glitch to just farm runes since by the time you finish doing this glitch plus the long-ass free-fall you could have done the albinauric farm about 8 or more times already yielding the same if not more runes than this glitch, given that you don't make mistakes in the jump and not fall to your death.. doing this glitch is quite the endeavor if you are not a fan of parkouring in the game plus missing the initial slash/attack animation at the start of the free fall kills you. Doing the glitch is pretty easy if you know what you're doing but it's still around 2 to 3 minutes to pull off. A bit tedious for my taste... so I'll stick with the Waves of Gold Albinauric farm strat. In conclusion the glitch is only really helpfull if you want to cheese/skip the Mohg fight with the added bonus of the rest of the map's mob runes.
Yep the albanuric farm is easier, faster and gives u more runes. I don't understand why folk would skip mohg anyways he is piss easy with the right flask
@@Pvdtheking2k Agreed... I guess some people can't be bothered to learn his moveset. Like you can pretty much cheese the cunt in his own arena with some ridiculously cheesy builds, but yeah... I guess some people would rather parkour their way out of the situation. 🤣
@@Badpiggiesfangirl_31428 oh no I’m not beating it the way the devs wanted it’s such a problem that someone on RU-vid wants to stop struggling on a boss in a soulsbourne game that another person has to tell him to beat him normally
@@Badpiggiesfangirl_31428 look mate I couldn’t give two fucks about beating him the normal way and to be honest why should you he gave information that helped me beat him now I’m going to beat him or try at the very least without using the glitch
My first time I used Mohgs Shackle trick which froze him in place but halfway through he would wake up and kill me lol. I eventually beat him tho and I feel better that I did it the real way instead of cheese.
Pretty sure there's still the glitch where you can get into his arena without going through the wall and thus it prevents him from "activating" so he just stands there.
I accidentally recreated a version of this a few weeks ago with the seamless co-op mod, the fog gate wasn’t there for me but I could see mohg at the end, my friend standing right next to him unable to see him or get aggro, everytime I entered the arena the cutscene would play so long as my friend stood near where mohg spawns, and would infinitely respawn him, luckily I’d played the game quite a bit at this point so it was an easy fight and decent rune farm plus his nihil mechanic wasn’t actually working so I didn’t get bled at all
I cant imagune this glitch/cheese surviving the DLC and accompanied patching, if, as suggested by many, the entry to the DLC is touching the hand after defeating Mohg.
I remember when this game first dropped and you could parkour up over the wall and kill him that way. He would just stand still and you could kill him then.
Or you can just do the bird farm and albinauric one both located at the same place in Moghwyn palace, much easier and faster, esp with the sacred relic sword's wave of gold skill with the albinaurics, or any big aoe weapon. Not to mention repeatable. You get 92k runes every 10 seconds with the gold scarab farming the albinaurics. And you don't have to glitch out of the map or use any exploits, completely legit in that sense. And any level can farm the bird for 11k runes every 5 seconds, as long as you have a bow.
You can also glitch mog into the left side of the arena where he gets stuck and auto dies.that takes the right attack and placement i do it everytime tho so yea hopefully it doesnt get patched lol
idk if they changed it but im pretty sure you dont even have to do any of that boss fog stuff. Just go hit the cliffs, at least when i played you didnt have to trigger any boss and just do it
Summon people, don't be underleveled, and making sure you have the crimson tear in order to survive the phase transition will also help. This is something people who does 100% speedruns might do, not the everyday players tbh.
If you want runes, spawn at the Palace Ledge Approach site of grace, shoot the bird in the blood lake, it's 11k runes, like 14k with Golden Scarab + Fowl Foot, around 130 something runes per min, or 200k+ per fowl foot
Just use a save editor at that point. I can guarantee this gives you almost no boost compared to that albanoric farm in literally this same area, which gives you almost double the amount of runes for 2 min of work
