When I first started learning to fight against Radagon, I would parry him over and over and do almost nothing else. Then I started sneaking in attacks between each parry. Then I kept adding in more and more attacks, whittling down the downtime until the entire fight was this hyper aggressive dance of nonstop action. This is quite possibly my favourite boss out of any Soulsborne game. It is so perfectly designed around the player's move set, and squeezes every bit of potential out of the combat system. The same can't be said for the Elden Beast, but goddamn - Radagon is so epic.
I agree. Radagon is one of my top favorite boss fights in this game. The atmosphere combined with the aggressive way he fights that also allows the player to find plenty of openings while also having a nice rhythm to it makes it incredibly fun for me
@@DingDongDarkness Yeah I didnt notice either. I thought he was still a low key channel but he's almost at 200,000..that's crazy to see how he's grown from when I first got here
A pleasure and honour to know you, SmvR. 😊🙏🏻 Definitely a top class creative display of weapon art mastery, sorceries, and dodges... etc. Enjoy your video very much. 😃👍🏻✨️
It's crazy how good you got at these games SmvR! Like I saw the description to one of the Malenia videos you did, and you said that the only attack of hers you found threatening was her waterfowl dance. It's actually insane how you can just say that! And from that, I'm assuming you didn't find Radagon or Elden Beast that tough huh?
Incredible!!!! Like wow man! Awesome work. Now that you have mastered Elden ring will you do horizon like you said? Or SIFU? SIFU is literally made for your skills 😁 God bless and keep it up!
One thing I'd would like to know is how many times you tried and grueling hours it took for you to read and know how he'd attack you? The determination not only yourself but other elden lords have achieved is awesome. The greatest thing that many people over look is anyone can be this good if you put the dedication to it. As someone that never gave From games a chance due to its difficulty till this game and trying bloodborne again makes me hopeful that I will do the same. I'll keep aspiring and following your content man. Bravo 🤘🤘🤘
I saw Elden Ring and just clicked on it automatically without looking at the account, saw the first 10-15 seconds and how flawless the evades were and was like "this looks like SmvR"...lo and behold so it was...quality can't hide...
Just came here to say i beat the whole game with this weapon, and im not as cracked as you, but me and my plus 10 mimic destroyed radar on first try with the long range sword beams. Absolutely melted him, only to immeadately get merked by elden beast. Good to see someone else who isnt sleeping on this weapon
Great like always. I found the last attack very cool. I wonder if I will have the patience to go to ng+7 if the bosses get this much more health. What rune level did you have here?
New to this channel and judging from all the comments he really is good…. How can it be possible with such low health bar and on top of that take no hits, is this even real 😩😩😩😩????
I love how jumping just ignores the hitbox of the downward moving weapon. It flies in the face of being intuitive, since it's not normal for jumping to have s. But I guess whatever?
Just curious, but how many hours and attempts did it take for you to pull this off? I can see that you definitely did a bit of experimental runs because you knew exactly where to stand, what punish windows you have, etc. Only thing I see that could have went wrong was at 0:07 when he did the stomp. You got lucky there because most of the time he follows up with a thrust which would absolutely hit you if he did that right after the stomp. Instead I roll right into it so that when he does the thrust, he misses since it only hits at range and only jump when he transitions into phase 2 with the golden stomp. Also not using bloodhound step to avoid the stars was impressive. Even Obangle had to use bloodhound step to avoid that. I had no idea you can avoid that by just running behind him. And dodging those waves while you had stars chasing you was impressive. That is usually a wrap for most of my attempts haha. Good shit man. I will definitely be studying this for when I do my no hit attempt on this boss soon.
Me too bro about the following; dude’s the champ love his gameplay he the one who through watching him made me a master at god of war 2018 still the goat game btw hope ragnarok is better! but yeah smvr is da shit! Keep it up dawg!!!! I still want this game but broke af! Tootles!
That’s really cool that you learned the timing to dodge the attack moves - that is so difficult to do on the fly. I figured out that you can’t really run away from Radagon or he will chain attack you. I have been working on dodging and really gained some insight watching your video on how to fight the difficult bosses.
How many hits does it typically take to proc frost with th dark moon sword? I’m sitting here thinking about a frost battlemage build but you can get a much higher frost percentage on pretty much any strength weapon….? Am I wrong. Idk. I am confused though, by the math that this game makes me think about.
Dude, u make it seem like those needle missile attacks are consistent to not get hit by. Which is really interesting cuz if so, some no-hit runners need to take some tips from you. I’ve been following a couple and when they get to Elden beast, if they even smell one of those attacks, they bone out and do the fight over again. But if you’ve figured out a way to dodge those attacks constantly, then it looks like they need to look at some of yr strats! I guess getting to this fight with 0 hits thru the whole game first, is a lot more nerve racking than just doing this fight over again tho. Would you say yr needle missile attack strats are consistent enough for no hitters to incorporate ? It looks like u move the camera in a pretty specific way when those attacks come, maybe that helps a lot?
Bruh I beat the game 4 times and on my fifth try t decided to get all achievements and let me tell you now the game knows when you are achievement hunting I had to get the moonlight ending and beat the ancestor deer thing……..that fight the radagon fight and the last boss fight took me 2 weeks alone this game changes difficulty I just know it does
Would enjoy you review and analyze games if you ever into that. You have a lot of games you're good at I don't know if you have a channel where you like to talk about games
Before bloodborne: tank and shield After bloodborne: roll. Seriously, even when I made my faith/str hybrid build in elden ring, I didn't use a shield. I just rolled. Good fight. Think I'll respect and try str/int
You should post more elden ring you’re builds are more creative than most and actually require skill and not an overpowered meta I really appreciate that
