Very impressive the waterfowl dodge, usually I just lock off and try to run a circle around Malenia before dodging, or just sprint+jump, but you managed to do it all while locked on
I think you can probably get the ash of war out when she isnt in her hyper armor, I havent tested but I think its possible. Malenia is designed in a way if you commit to an AOW that hits continuously, she doesn't recover until the AOW ends. Needs testing tho for this weapon
This weapon has an enormous delay between the first and second part of the AOW for some reason, and her recovery is extremely quick. She'll definitely break out of it and hit you. Not a problem for a tank, but she'll ruin the no hit. Also, she breaks the game's mechanics and can animation cancel out of her stunlock into moves that give her infinite stance and hyperarmor like waterfowl, so trying to stunlock Malenia is never safe, especially with slower weapons.
@@TheStraightestWhitest she only animation cancels a handful of attacks and its not random, there is a pattern to it. I have looked at the code, you can drag her unlimited with prelate's charge she wont break it. she only animation cancels when her stance is close to breaking. there are other indicators as well, its really not random as to popular view
One advice: The left kick has only one follow up, and it's the jump into downwards slash which is extremely slow and gives you a long punish window. So both the kick and (if she does it) the follow up are safe to punish. But only the left side kick (her left, your right). The right kick has a far quicker follow up and is not a safe punish. Other than that, nice work.
bro u gotta use the skill at least more than once or else whats the difference between these weapons and any other dual collosal weapons. great fight tho
Brotha u know malenia won't stand there letting u use ur aow most weapons aow takes seconds to do, in her second phase there's no way u can do that ash of war without getting hit
