@BOMBZ ! Hardly an OP build, sorcery + dex or str sucks in elden ring. Notice the hosts damage is 800 a hit while the invaders magic is doing 200-400 a hit.
Help me here. He uses bloodhound step and moonveil katana at the same time. Hes using the bloodhound in another weapon and swaping it everytime? Maybe using it in the staff
@@MateusRDMelo Yeah, i know, but im asking how hes using 3 different ashes of war. Hes using other weapons just to have different ash of war? hes using in the staff?
@@joaov2374 exactly bro. I thought he was using more than one war ash in one weapon. But you can see he changes weapons. He holds two swords in his right hand and a staff in his left.
@@DccAnh i mean yeah magic and weapon arts are incredibly strong in this as long as you don't mindlessly throw it out it's hard to counter especially with a slower weapon or even with someone that keeps their distance
@@billbaggins1688 Haven't played yet as invader, but invaders can't actually estus in this version as one previous title, I believe. @EDIT: They have estus, just that it's tradition and honor-bound thing the community does, as just chugging just to drag on a fight is really annoying but it's great for outnumbered fights.
@@lucas1309 Invaders can Estus, it's just a carryover from Dark Souls 3 arena where health Estus wasn't allowed, but FP Estus were. It's just bad form to Estus in a 1v1 duel.
From someone that really dislikes PvP for myself, I do love watching others as that is where you REALLY get to see what fighting is! But above that, I have to give you huge props for posting a loss. I get very tired of the, "This game offers no challenge for me..." or "I just kill everyone easily, dont you want to watch that?" videos all the time. I know you posted with "Finally! A great duel!" which probably falls into the same category I mentioned, but still, you posted a loss so I have to respect that. Great duel!!
Good match! Thanks for showing this. When a skinny magic type comes in aggressive like that, shield-less, with different weapons in both hands, it was going to be an Ash of War battle. I'm really glad you knew how to beat hoarfrost stomp with that jump attack! It's really strange that you looked like you had a clean hit at 1:23 which would have been the killing blow, but it didn't even cause a blip in his health bar.
I just bought Elden Ring yesterday. I’m late I know lol. I’m amazed at how every duel I see online each player is able to fight uniquely. Just shows how many different items and styles are in the game and I love that.
Its a 2 edged sword honestly. It is great to see magic that's actually viable in a 1v1 but at the same time it seems a bit too strong and easy to just play the distance game especially when you mix it with something like moonveil or the stomp
@@innovation_s6079 I'm using a Moonveil Spellblade / Havel Mage build and its frankly disgusting so I'd have to agree. Think I've lost once in PVP to another mage but yet to be beaten by a pure melee.
@@innovation_s6079 It's not easy to use at all. Need to get the timing exactly right and sometimes free aim the spells predicting movement like this guy did at 0:32
I dont play magic in these games too much , honestly defeats the purpose for me , however I do like playing magic , I am however having lots of fun playing melee in elden ring so far .
@@dificulttocure so you actually have to use spells smartly instead of just random bullshit crazy how that works almost like melee has to do something similar. Magic still benefits from high damage, distance/reach, and a lot of the spells have some crazy good tracking and or pressure
It good to see some people actually know what they're doing in pvp, every time my friends are invaded while I'm there I duel them and have always won, and won 2 of the 3 invasions I've done so far
@@Oreoboy101 I have had to do a bit of separating of the host and his friends, but most people seem to be doing some low hp builds or something as I could kill some of them with just a few hits
@@fotuto13 Wait hold up, does this apply to duels as well? I'd like to think that a duelist summon can retain their great rune to be even with the host.
@@innovation_s6079 If you get Mohgwyn's great rune, and invade people, you get a blood rune arc that will strengthen enemies in the person you're invadings world and copy their great rune they're using if they have one active.
They knew how to play yeah, but also their setup is meta pvp. Hoarfrost Stomp and Moonveil are literally some of the most overpowered tools in the game.
@@chillimayo2661 When you attack with a lock on an enemy, you can cancel it right before the attack hits and vice-versa. Useful for certain weapons and spells because the games auto aim isn't that smart.
he play so well.i love when I fight with people who come from dark souls.. the new people don't know not to take life flasks in duels and its easy to beat xd
