The braided hair and more refined look reminds me a lot like Godfrey, and Miquella basicly tries to use Radahn the same way Merika used Goddrey, not as a husband, but as her own personal warrior, her blade to fight for her order
Don’t worry miqulla I’ll make sure that the world will be a gentler place, I will melt everything away until there’s no more suffering or agony, MAY CHAOS TAKE THE WORLD
Well, if there is no one that has to complain the world is in theory "better" not gentler but fair, all shall be reduced to ashes... MAY CHAOS TAKE THE WORLD
Yeah. People buffing a dozen times, using an OP build for mimic tear, and using every summon they can to just brute-force the fight doesn’t make it look interesting or fun. I get it, it’s part of the game and people are free to use all of them, but I prefer to just use the tried and true “get gud.” It can take way longer and can be a ridiculous challenge, but all the more satisfying when you finally overcome it.
@@changedman715but it literally isn’t. This isn’t even the same Radahn moveset. And the only similar thing about this and the twin princess is strictly a visual similarity with another person on the back of someone else.
@@magnumdoinks5595 I think that’s literally all people are latching on to when saying that. If you had to keep killing Radahn and then Miquella would keep reviving him, then yeah, *_that_* would be Lothric 2.0.

Spoiler: Miquella used Mohg's corpse to resurrect Radahn, which is why you can see that this Radahn has omen horns on his arms, his left eye is missing, and he emanates a red aura similar to Mohg.
In the Shadow Keep's Specimen Storeroom (1st Floor) you'll have the ability to talk with Ansbach. If you give him a certain scroll ("Secret Rite") you can find on the 4th Floor, he'll share with you his findings: Miquella manipulated Mohg to get access to the Shadow Realm and had Mohg's remains pulled into it after the latter's death, so that Miquella could transplant his consort king's soul into a fresh vessel. This whole revelation causes Ansbach (who still has deep reverence for Mohg) to turn on Miquella, thereby allowing the player to summon him as an ally during the final fight. Malenia fighting Radahn was apparently on Miquella's behalf, with the direct objective of accelerating the plan to pull Radahn's soul into the Shadow Realm. Problem is, Radahn didn't die until the day he met a certain Tarnished, at which point the soul transmigration happened and Miquella's plan reached completion.
@@jinji_xo Damn, so it sounds like taking out Radahn in the final fight is penance for what we unwittingly condemned him to. Feels good to know that we're freeing the General from being the Blaster to Miquella's Master.
@@BestWayKilla YUP, Radahn remains a chad even in death. Straight up rejected empyrean bussy, for a horse that remained his friend all the way to his death o7

Those cheese videos ruined this fight's beauty. Well done showing off their moveset. My only wish was that this boss had 2 health bars instead of the 50-75% hp trigger.
Lore wise i still have mixed feelings, But the fight itself was hands down my favorite in the DLC, Absolutely INSANE moveset, Beautiful OST, Incredibly challenging, Awesome boss.

If its in the game then people are gonna use it. Fromsoft shoved so much random bullshit in this game they completely lost the focus on combat and I would argue that now the combat is one of the weakest parts of elden ring.
@@DissipatedTire i disagree. I think the combat in elden ring is comparable if not better than all the other fromsoftware games. Since they have so many options it allows people to chose how they want to play. Soulslike enjoyers who enjoy difficulty and learning the boss' moveset dont need to use summons and other weird stuff, meanwhile casual fans or people who havent played fromsoftware games can make it easier for themselves. In short, summons and other stuff are optional so its up to the player to choose how they want to play
I still don’t believe this is what prime radahn is like bc: 1. They’re using moghs inferior body 2. He is still a shell of him self or rather a puppet of carnage on behalf of miquella not of his own mind. I bet it’s something like this (I could be wrong asf) Prime radahn > consort radahn > starscourge beast radahn
Basing on Miquella's and Radahn's personality based on my own assumption, Radahn mostly tops but Miquella will request sometime to top and Radahn will agree as a good partner 😂😅
Exactly what I said on the first video. Everyone that complained is now like: “this fight is siiiickkkk! Oh thank you miyazaki”. Apparently to showcase that all you needed was in true souls fashion: a 1 VS 1. The phasing in and out like Malenia with the rot butterfly’s, the bloodboon that shows Radahn and Mohg are joined, and the god damn Radahn meteor attack at 5:12 was absolutely nasty. Also this boss looks challenging but literally fun challenging. So, if you want the best fight, no summons.
People that get so hard over no summons are so weird. Such a bizarre hill to die on lmao the fact that you even remotely care how people approach a SINGLEPLAYER game just reeks of insecurity
@@Tony-sx3nf yeah. I think because of him being the lord of blood, his body was malleable enough to changed into Radahn(plus, they are technically brothers, from Marika and Radagon).
Best Display of this boss and good on you for not being a cornball and immediately summoning and cheesing your way through Radahn just to be the first to upload.
Goddamn this final boss was so unexpected but in the best way possible. Radahn having his redemption for me is just chefs kiss. If we got a second dlc with Godwyn this game would be THE game of all time
Esse é o primeiro video onde alguém luta de forma descente contra esse BOSS e devo dizer, DIVINAL, fez jus a Radahn em seu auge, finalmente vejo a AURA do Semideus mais poderoso.
Saw another video of idiots complaining about Radahn being the final boss but when you take away the summons it makes the fight look much better and harder than what it looked like with summons. Perfect fight & stage imo
It’s a fine fight just not a good one for basically the last boss of elden ring since they aren’t doing another dlc, but ofc anyone who disagrees with you is an idiot
Radhan fight IS good, the problem is that it is radhan that was already conpleted as a character in the base game, but someone like godwyn that was a complete mistery for us could have been perfect for the final boss like a nameless king 2.0 ( both became friend with a dragon, and both their families hated dragons), radhan just feels wrong for the final boss, and the fact that we cannot get a secret ending with miquella as a consort and the age of kindess that miquella wanted so badly makes this dlc incomplete for me, not bad just... Incomplete ( my opinion )
You perfectly didn’t miss the point at all. Im sure every comment out there are talking about the difficulty. NO. People are actually arguing that they reuse radahn regardless of his new movesets. If its malenia or godfrey or anyone from base game, people would still be mad
I don't care what anyone thinks about lore but we can all egree on something. This fight is peak ER. FROMSOFT delivered in every aspect imaginable in regards to gameplay and I cannot be more thankful to get to play a game like this in a time where companies underdeliver all the time. THANK YOU MIYAZAKI.
Only complain was this radahn being slower than his starscourge version, his strikes seem delayed when u fight him. The rest of the fight imo is solid.
At least he/she Miquella became a God? Did you save any trees? Rebuilt your own tree? Did you ever ask for Malenia???? I want a Malenia cosplay just to slap them 😤
Everyone whines about Radahn being the final boss of the dlc. But in the end of the day, whatever the developers might say otherwise, Shadow of the Erdtree is still an dlc, an side story, so Radahn here is not the big and final boss of the WHOLE Elden Ring in general.
It is confusing from a lore perspective. Radahn’s story was already told and had a conclusion. They could have added more to his already existing story and not change it dramatically.
Nothing is concrete yet, but since Malenia was tasked to bring Radahn back to Miquella and the end result was a war, my guess is no, it was not consensual. We also see Miquella's bewitching powers at play when Radahn grabs us, he will whisper in the Tarnished and after the second grab, it's a insta lose, the death screen replaced by "Heart Stolen".
I have this explained, but this is a long one: There's actually no hint to this, it seems everyone knew, and agreed, including Radahn and Malenia. Reason why Miquella sent his sister to kill Radahn was because he was under the influence of a great rune and forgot his promise to Miquella, Malenia was along with it because in a helm description it said, "Miquella awaits thee, O' Promised Consort", and if you remember the cinematics where they fought, she says something but we couldn't hear, it was already hinted at before the base game even came out. But because she used scarlet bloom to defeat him it didn't kill him so Miquella had to manipulate Mogh to get his body somewhere else to where he could access the realm of shadows. Which was revealed in the DLC by Moghs follower. Then we kill Mogh and Radahn, two of the requirements to get into the DLC, therefore allowing Radahn to finally die and Miquella uses Moghs body but bc he is the Lord of Blood, Radahn is able to have his form come to fruition due to the malleable body, which we saw when his body came from blood, but since it's still his body you can see Omen horns on Radahns Gauntlet. And another thing Miquella *needed* a consort that wasn't an emperyan to ascend to Godhood and from a remembrance we know Miquella had a crush on Radahn and if it was going to be anyone it was going to be him, and Radahn promised. This would also bring the Carian family back with the Golden Order aligning their families to peace.
I liked this fight a lot, but it kind of left me wanting. One more final-final boss afterwards would've been great, since it felt like the Gate of Divinity should've been interactable or something. Maybe could've transported you to fight Super-God-Miquella or the Greater Will or...something, I dunno. Luckily, Metyr did scratch that itch pretty well. Pun fully intended.
Lore wise i understand what they are going for, if this was the sub or pentaultimate boss to demonstrate Miquellas evil. A Radahn-Mohg hybrid with Miquella backing him up (literally.), but then builds up to reveal Miquella and a revived Godwyn, as was hinted at in the base game. A sort of 1, 2, punch from Messmer, to Rad-Mohg, to a Miquella-Godwyn battle that couldve used Death Blight and Holy/Faith to an even worse potential. Fulfilling the inciting incident of the base game story with the death of Godwyn, and fulfilling a very little refrenced side story. The boss fight itself is awesome, i just feel as though were missing something here.
How much as I would've loved to see a revived Godwyn, it would make no sense. Godwyn's soul was utterly destroyed, there's nothing left for Miquella to bring back
@lp071 If Miquella can find a way to combine Mohg-Radahn, is there not a possibility that Miquella could bring Godwyn back? I know he died in soul as compared too in body, but I don't see the need to create a limit for the most "fearsome" Emperyean.
@@mickeyj5922 Mohg, Miquella and Radahn all have something in common; their bodies were cleansed by the influence of an Outer God other than the Greater Will (the Formless Mother for Mohg and Miquella, and the Scarlet Rot for Radahn). This severed them from their link to the Greater Will (as demigods), a requirement for entry in the Land of Shadow. The other requirement is that the soul be preserved (for passage), a requirement only Godwyn fails. I don't know yet why Mohg's body was chosen, but I get why Radahn was chosen. Him and Mohg were the only options left amongst the demigods, and Radahn is the obvious best choice. It's very convoluted, but it makes a little sense, at least.
@@mickeyj5922 Miquella is fearsome because of his ability to compel affection. It allowed him to manipulate Mohg into cleansing his body, so he could enter the Land of Shadow. Destined Death isn't an Outer God, so even if Godwyn's soul had survived, they wouldn't be able to enter the Land of Shadow
@@mickeyj5922 For a demigod to enter the Land of Shadow, they need to sever their link to the Greater Will. It can be done by having one's body cleansed by the influence of another Outer God. Mohg and Miquella's bodies were cleansed by the Formless Mother, and Radahn's by the Scarlet Rot (which may have been why Malenia attacked him in the first place). Godwyn's link to the Greater Will was never technically severed, even if his soul was still around
@@pipe1860 i talk about alternate version of Radahn. I heard the alt one start with light attack moves that start from the second phase Idk man Idc about drama much too
@@Arabyss if it had, there's no video evidence for it yet. Would be cool to see a Fume Knight situation, like when he saw Verstad's armor on you, he instantly goes second phase. XD
It looks good. I think it'd be a cool idea to have a third phase in which Miquella manages to break his eternal youth curse and we fight him in adult form
I personally thought the Lore was pointing everything to the return of Godwyn, and seeing Radahn not only resurrected but with Omen Horns on his bracers seems off. Radahn likes the old order, he died for it. Godwyn however had everything he was meant to be stolen away from him, who better to reign as Lord Brother than Godwyn?
Let me get this straight, we had to beat Radahn in the base game, alongside Mohg, to access the DLC, only to fight him again in his prime as the DLC's final boss, who is also tag teaming with Miquella, who is reputed in the lore as the most powerful demigod!?
How is your damage negation so high man? I can eat three of his swings (back-to-back) in second phase MAX before I die and I was a STR only character vig high vigor and STR
To those whining about Radahn being the final boss, consider this: we fought Malenia at her prime, then slew her after she ascended. The o.g. Radahn duel was akin to putting down a rabid animal on its last legs. I think it’s only fair to give the red maned lion a second chance to truly be a legend!
Miquella helps him at the second stage so I’m not sure if we truly saw his prime (unless you consider the small first stage). He looks badass though, I love him.
@cginferno how are you doing so much dmg? or are you buffed a lot? You're doing 1.5k a poke when im doing 1.4k with a jumping attack with two Colossal weapons :(
How many Scadutree Fragments did you collect? Because you should be at minimum Shadow Blessing level 13. Also Radahn is weak to both Frost and Pierce damage
Everyone was jumping the gun to judge this boss based on the leaks and those poorly boss fight reviews. The final version definitely looks way better despite the confusing lore
No it's the same version as the leak. Let yourself be grab by him and you will see that unpolished janky animations where you just floating slide down when he put you down, and he will turn around like sitting on office chair with zero body movement after the grab.
The lore probkem are: 1. Why radahn? No indication miquela and radahn communicate to each other in base game. Why malenia and radahn fight then? 2. Did miquela abandon her haligtree project? Which god does he choose? H3 wants to cut away from erdtree. Why does he want to comeback again?
I swear this boss takes 0 fucking damage i must not have enough fragments because bro takes like 1400 damage per jump attack with that new meteor blade makes it feel like a slog
