I agree, Dragons are suppose to be (and our) 1 of the strongest in the game but we look like we haven't eaten in days lol. DS2 atleast looked like an awesome dragon knight and even DS1 as goofy as it looks actually looks strong instead of looking like we are wasting away.

That "form" is literally just armor you equip after you "transform". Bring back Ds1 era dragon form.

In fact, there is a version of that heart that improves what you require. It's called "heart of stone" or something like that, and it does improve communion enchantments.

​@@MaCAttaK There's a dragon painting that you need to inspect in the Shadow keep. There's a ladder next to a lot of water, where if you take the ladder down, there's a hidden entrance behind a waterfall. When you find the room with the painting, inspect it, and then attack the wall to the right of the painting. It will reveal a pathway to a dungeon, and getting through that dungeon will take you to the hidden Abyssal forest. The Abyssal Forest has nothing to do with the Stone Heart, but it's easy to miss while you are going for it. After you find the Dragon Painting in the Shadow Keep, go to the jagged peak mountainside Grace in the Jagged Peak Mountain area. If you explore the area well, you should come across a phantom chair in which a phantom painter appears, who then drops the Stone Heart. You could also look up a RU-vid video on the exact locations, but it is not hard to find, at all, since the Jagged Peak is pretty linear.

@@ichigozangetsugrimmjozgqp9439 it helps but I can’t give a exact number since I’ve only recently gotten one of two forms but it probably would help a lot especially when paired with a max level dragon communion seal

There's also a new armor set that increases dragon incants, death knight armor.

So you can miss the option to do it if you're too mid late game but not late game

It's one of the coolest concepts imo, I do wish we got a really cool form, but the point is we don't. Blah blah lore blah blah lessons about the fact that no transformation we ever achieve will ever be perfect. Same reason as to why Florissax is a husk - she was a dragon imperfectly transformed to a human. I like lore so I think still it's cool yknow

@@robertaguilar7628 I’ve seen it doesn’t mean it has to look similar. Elden ring may be souls like but doesn’t have to be the same artistically with everything. The ancient dragons alone look better than most dragons in all of dark souls

And I’m not lying to myself I’m just saying I would like a form or armor set that looked cooler for the dragons. And I feel like they could have done better with the look. Or maybe better isn’t the word, just different. They did what they wanted to do and they did it well for the style they wanted. It’s just not my thing.

I believe it's because Igon can't walk, so to keep with cannon you gotta spawn him in the arena for him to be a stationary summon

It’s a lot of bosses that have the summon in the arena, and they couple that with boss moves that have them lunge straight across the arena at you as soon as you walk in. Shit is crazy.

And I would argue that the transformation is better for dmg but the incantation is better for defense, since you can still wear heavy armor while using it, whereas the transformation counts as armor. They’re both cool but I’m personally going to go for the transformation this time around.

So from what I understand, going to shadow keep ends up locking you out of several NPC quest lines if they weren't done prior to going there, so I don't think you will be able to get the item from him. However, I do have my own theory of an alternative method. In the base game there is a secret item you can get from seluvis called the Amber Draught. You get this item to be used to try and get Ranni as a puppet summon (however she will never drink it and kill you if you try to use it on her) so now I'm wondering if this can be used on the dragon priestess instead. I haven't gotten far enough into the dlc to try it yet though

@@theoneandonly9775 For future reference, all those items will either say "consumable" for one-time use, or "reusable" for infinite uses in the item description.

Use mimic tear with a bunch of uplifting aromatics, scarlet Aeonia, pest threads, and erstere heal with no other spells. Then talismans I use the +3 shields for physical, lightning, and fire dmg w flocks canvas talisman. Weapon with bloodhounds step to switch to on my character, not on the mimic, and both me and the mimic have a flamesrt no skill fingerprint stone shield. Summon igon and that’s how I beat bayle on ng+11

You can do it bro he has big openings he is very agresive but have huge dps fases, took me around 10 tres when i started paying atention to his move set

Use Rotten Breath for his first and second phases. It will help a ton, trust me.

Keep at it I tried maybe 50 times with a storm build with the lions head and talisman, I eventually succumbed and used rot breath and my old faithful grafted greatsword for big bong damage and did it first try after that 😂
