Beyond the good CGI, the imagery, use of colors and overall art direction of the trailer was majestic

I think Messmer's dad is the One Eyed God, the one worshipped by the giants. The giants received the fire from that god, same fire Messmer got.

Kinda looks like a godskin swaddling cloth in the beggining edit: also the purple clouds in the next scene remind me of gloam

If malenia's eventual fate is to bloom as the new Rot goddess (something that is only being slowed and will forever overtake her) than can we assume that for Miquella is fate is to become some sort of god dealing with sleep/ dreams such as his Saint Trina alter ego? So that him abandoning fate is him abandoning this angle that he is??

The scene of the bodies and the golden light with marika in the middle invoke this scene in berserk where Griffith's vision of a castle on the distance is shown to him by one of the god hands As he stumbles on a mountain of bodies to reach it.

I think the shadow lands is north of the Shaded Castel, as it has all the areas that the DLC covers . But if it is in the middle like the video says, then the veils are held by the TOWERS.

What if a secret in the title is the literal layout of the title. One set under the other. They were talking about this dlc potentially being in the area that used to be under the erdtree. What if it still is, but it's hidden like Firm Software did with Bloodborne? The different areas were always there, but no one could see them because they were layered on top of each other. Could be something similar here.

Anyone else think Marika closes herself up in all those bodies and the tree grows with her inside of it like Miquella did? I think what she is holding is a golden seed and those threads are going to wrap around those bodies and pull them around her. Thus growing the erdtree.

I think the male narrator in the first trailer is on messmers “side” and the female narrator from this trailer and parts of the first trailer is on Marikas or miquellas “side”

Been thinking about it for a couple months but I believe marikas parent is the Formless Mother and that Messmer is actually her brother and her origin story is how she went from being raised by evil and overcoming that

I think that the pregnant woman in the trailer was the real god or atleast supposed to be. And in the Beginning we see marika taking the golden strands from what looks like a belly maybe. And i think thats the reason that the native's of shadow realm are opposing marika. And maybe messmer is fighting for marika against the shadow realm native. The pregnant woman was really important to the native's. And it could be that messmer is the child of that pregnant woman because as one of the npc says in the base game [ The unwanted child of queen marika]. Miquella being all kind and charming, maybe she doesn't like what her mother did to the shadow realm and the pregnant woman, and reaching out to us and several npc in the shadow realm to help her and follow her footsteps. Another theory about miquellla is that her powers allow her to influence or mesmerize people. And the reason that she reached out to us and other tarnished has to do something with st.trina. maybe miquella is a evil mastermind and trying to set connection with st.trina with our help, we think she is all good and kind but she could have a evil plan under her sleeves. Messmer being confused about her mother maybe may something to do with the pregnant woman shown in the trailer. If have to say something about my theory,, plz reply.

14:00 looks like a numen burned. melina also has been burned before ! she was born at the foot of the erdtree ! she fights like assassins numes who comes from another land. the first shot the dead body has white clothes so was the gloom eyed queen and melina has glooming eye. as for the logo 29:10 what about the words colors in the logo Elden Ring Gold color and shadow of the erdtree in white represent the gloom eyed queen white clothes. , everything adds up.

How’s no one noticed that it’s Godfrey who’s impaled on the stairs. Remember he was killed in battle (impaled in the picture)after he was sent to the other world by Marika

So is Messmer continuously killing the inhabitants of the shadow lands on Marika’s behalf to ‘feed’ the Erdtree? And is Miquella so disgusted by his heritage he disappears in order to find and salvage a more kind and inclusive Golden Order?

I read somewhere, and after watching this trailer, that Elden ring is about how awful colonialism is. It's a huge critique of every empire that decimated the local and the natives in the name of some "higher purpose" (in this case, the other races not having the grace of gold). Considering that this game was written by G.R.R. M, this is not a huge stretch

this was soooo unnecessary LOL. All you had to do was add commentary over the gameplay footage. Long gone are the days where we have to stare at talking heads giving their "opinions" on previews/demos. After all, you guys are competing with youtubers who have spent the last decade building their communities around these types of video games. also, hey lucy & tam how's your friend jirard doing? you still haven't provided any proof that you weren't aware of the charity scam (that you wre DIRECTLY involved with).
