All of these cinematics should have been included in the game. I missed all of these trailers because I didn't want to spoil the game to myself before release, but I didn't know that there was so much additional material and cutscenes beyond the cinematics included in the game.
Yeah the intro should of been a cinematic instead of a slideshow. I didn't mind it but knowing previous fromsoft games have cinematics to open the game so it was kinda odd.
@@ysnp100 I mean, I get why they haven't included this trailer in the main game. It's always a delicate act deciding how much to tell the player, and there is a lot of stuff in this trailer. So I get why they might've thought "perhaps it's best not to include this in the main game". Still, they could've included it as an Extra or something.
@@thalesn Except, the game literally describes in detail several times the events that were shown in this trailer so it doesn't really make sense, there's probably some reason they ended up not including it. At least I hope there is one other than them just not feeling like it.
It really does go to show that Japanese made games can have great dubbing, if they cast the right people for the job. Fromsoftware is a case and point of this.
@@Garl_Vinland while there is a japanese cast, the japanese is actually the dub in DS3, Bloodborne's case as it was recorded after the initial release. The only time where Japanese is the intended original recording in these souls games is with Sekiro.
I just hope there's no relentless covenant grinding like some of their other games have had or they've atleast toned it down a bit! Needing 30 from every covenant in DS3 was an absolute ballache!
@@Serprizebuttsecks thing is.... I think they will make a covenant for each demigod's area. ☹ I honestly dont want neither civenant trophies nor all rings from ds3 trophies. But as far as I know, there are no rings in the game so fine by me.
Elden ring is one of those games where I could go into it having never watched he'd a trailer, reading about it, or anything... and still be over the topped hyped for it because at this point I have complete faith that FromSoft can't release a bad game
@@MrMetalhorse it’s not the same game it’s a design philosophy and what makes these games so iconic because there is a certain style to them. Also they expand and improve on every sequel they release Ps: I know it’s a joke but just wanted to say that
I didn't know that this existed until now. In my pursuit to not spoil anything about this game before playing it I ended up missing these wonderful pieces of media. Watching it now brings tons of nostalgia, so much so I think I'll jump into the game again. You really created something special here Miyazaki and From Soft. Love all of your IP's since Demon Souls on the PS3. You're a large inspiration and this fantastic world that you created together with BG3 this year brings me a lot of hope to the future of my biggest hobby. Great job!
From Software surely went far in all those years…from an obscure Japanese studio to masters of their craft dropping something to get the whole industry in awe!
@@whitegenome22 With the current backlog that I have on games to play, books to read and series to watch, I'm afraid I have not enough time as it is 😄 But I admit, the games do look really cool
For those who didn’t watch the video here’s a summary of what was said: It all began with the forging of the Great Rings. Three were given to the Elves; immortal, wisest and fairest of all beings. Seven, to the Dwarf Lords, great miners and craftsmen of the mountain halls. And nine, nine rings were gifted to the race of Men, who above all else desire power. For within these rings was bound the strength and the will to govern over each race. But they were all of them deceived, for another ring was made. In the land of Mordor, in the fires of Mount Doom, the Dark Lord Sauron forged in secret, a master ring, to control all others. And into this ring he poured all his cruelty, his malice and his will to dominate all life. One ring to rule them all. (Jokes aside I’m really excited for Elden Ring)
I doubt you could even imagine it...That which commanded the stars... Giving life it's fullest brilliance... Thee Elden Ring... OOHHH Elden Ring... Shattered by someone or something... Don't tell me you don't see it... Look up to the sky...It burns...
Miyazaki is a super fan of Berserk as shown there is always at minimum one reference in all his games. Honestly I wish the current rights holder to Berserk would let Miyazaki develop a game because he do justice and respect to it.
