Out of every build ive played, this one is my favorite. Perfectly kiting in duels with the black bow is satisfying in a way I cant explain. Keep up the amazing content
Golem Arrows being locked behind exploits (or, stupidly long grinds, that I doubt anyone actually does) might be my least favourite thing about PVP in this game.
For real man. Wish he would acknowledge that he dupes for these. Builds like this/using the bow like he does in invasions is nearly exclusively dependent on these arrows. It’s very misleading to people who don’t know.
@@JP-so5kt honestly I'm pretty indifferent. Yes the weapon is broken in general and especially with Golem arrows, but a lot of the time I actually prefer the Jar Cannon since it works outside of lock-on range. Besides anyone who cares will find ways to dupe or use Grand Merchant or reload a cloud save or some other method
@@JP-so5kthe doesn’t dupe bc he woulda been banned by now. First you make an account and grind everything and then create a backup save. Drop everything to a friend and revert the backup for the friend to drop you back everything doubling all your items. This is legal duping lol wont ever get you banned for or flagged for misconduct. Once he runs out all he gotta do is revert to the backup
Yeah I get where both of you are coming from but as a hardcore pvp player (in what spare time I have) it just rubs me the wrong way these arrows are balanced this way and it isn’t addressed. I swap out to a great bow just like chase in invasions but seldom have the luxury of golem arrows. I don’t have time to make another account and do all that. It needs rebalanced imo.
Archer! And a short bow! True Joy, yes-yes! Bows is my personal St. Trina torch... Bows and underused AoW, magic, and all stuff off meta... Eh We need to imagine good combo-wombo for your short bow to play. Or maybe some Ash of War on bow could work. Can Skyshot be good for sleepy headshots?
When I made the "Robin Chase and the Merry NPCs" I was just joking, I didn't expect that he would become the best archer in the lands between and could only see hosties as apples.
I feel like you could have spark Aromatics as well and use those when you sleep someone with the short bow. Also I would like to remind you the short bow fires when you jump and when you land so you can mix up multiple shot patters as you jump around.
Use the lion greatbow in the off hand, then two hand the golem bow, putting the lion bow on your back, the radahn spear damage increase will carry over onto the golem bow.

You should definitely try to keep the arrow's reach talismanon when using a bow build - arrow effectiveness decrease over distance so this talisman greatly helps keeping damage up, more than the arrow sting talisman in my opinion since this one only boost the arrow damage not the bow damage. Arrow reach talisman is useful both for shortbows (you deal full damage from a longer range) and for greatbows (you deal more damage on very long range snipes)
Great content. Easy sub. I'm curious have you played Lord of the fallen? If so how does the invasions on ER compare to that? I basically stopped playing LOTF because invasions connection wise was just unplayable
Bro have you tried the spear talisman with the greatbow? Arrows do piercing damage and you do get the damage bonus for trading with the greatbow so it might work
Hey Chase I was thinking, what about a dex build with spark aromatics to sneak a follow up with something like square off or a thrust with warhawk's talon or any kind of rapier ? Maybe with a shield bash in off to compensate the lack of hyper armor to trade with ? I always keep some points in faith to get some buff in pve but not sure it would be more effective than pure dex. Would that work ? Also the double heavy slash of the talon maybe could work in pair with the double slash ashe of war ? What you think ?
I give up on the st. Trina’s torch. Been trying for 2 years and this guy will make a barehanded build before he uses the torch. Here’s an idea chase, build a backstab class with the Aliase “The booty Saint”.

Is there a golem great arrow cookbook or something? i don't get how you have unlimited golem arrows , it seems like really hard to farm these someone help me out plz
@@simonsupersad1722and once you have a sizeable stash of all the consumables you want, you make a backup save so you can roll it back and don't have to keep farming.
As horrifying as watching zero range bow attacks was, I was appreciative that chase was going straight for the kill everytime. No showboating, all thriller and no filler. The build is risky, chase gets frisky. One can only imagine how cut throat he would have to be to support some sort of hypothetical sleep-torch build.
I've been playing pvp since release and not once have I died to pure archer build, I imagine not many people have. If I ever die to pure archer build I would rightfully uninstall
That is terrifying. Imagine that as a Golden Order spell, though. Divert all damage taken to 10 seconds after the spell is cast, and face trade through everything until the spell triggers and you vaporize. It'd be a funny meme, for sure.
@@Zythryl Even within greatbows its only th Golem Greatarrows that make them viable. Take those away, and things would change dramatically (you would actually need to learn to aim).

Back before invading near and far was a thing I’d hang out in Sellia with a greatbow and jar cannon. Got so good at parkouring on the branches and rooftops. I hardstuck more than a couple pve groups trying to get through it. Probably got at least a couple hundred of my first 700 rune arcs there. Good times. 😊
Imagine bow builds in this game if it didn't have great golem arrows. Anytime i see anyone try a bow build they all look like this and its basically impossible to counter sometimes.
