It's so great. The first time in SotE I got a random invasion that cane with some dialog about why they were attacking me it really made the fight more exciting and meaningful.
@@RamixTheRed lmao it takes seconds if you know how to invade people, i did lots of invasions and also saved people from invaders, i just heared their beggining dialogue and then the end dialogue after that
2:40 the way they talk about how ansbach could not bring himself to forget mogh and moore hits with the "miquella the kind will help us forget" is just 👌
I still love fighting the party of 3 NPCs at the end of the Grand Archives in Dark Souls 3 abit more than this. Less Chaotic, alot of implications but no dialogue. For me it was the perfect "two trains passing in the night" type of battle.
Thank you for letting the dialogue play out and not letting your two companions die. This was the best play through of this fight I’ve seen, very scenematic my dude.
I just recently realized that if you do the DLC after the main game this IS a bossfight, against the Lord of the New Order - You. Leda gathers everyone she can to stop you because Miquella and his new Lord may be powerful, but you have killed Lords and Gods before. Put it like that and you realize just how dire Leda's situation is - trying to stop the person who cleaved through the Lands Between.
You dont even need to go that far. To them, you are without a doubt the next Lord, not a worthy contender or another ambitious fool, because to even get there you must have already slain at least 2 living legends ordinary mortals can never even hope to stand a chance, let alone defeat.
“Righteous Tarnished, it appears that our interests have aligned. A balm upon my soul it is that we do not meet today as enemies! Now… my blade… watch closely.” Last bit is easily the coldest line in the entire game
I love being summoned into this fight in Co-op. Just the thought that I am helping some random bro on the other side of the world in one common cause: fuck Dryleaf Dane
yep, it's so epic when you're able to get all 5 of them vs 3 of you at the same time. But it's difficult to do as either you will die or Ansbach will have died from you running around.
DevilHunter i want you to know i have been coming back to this video for over a week because i can not get over how badass the dialogue here is thank you
I'm going to have so much fun with this fight because i'm using a madness build. One of the few times outside of pvp that i get to use my build's status effect !
When she says "Needle Knight Leda, Dryleaf Dane, and our allies..." I know the reason why but it makes me feel like she forgot her other allies' names lol
I just got it down to Dane & Leda through quest choices & then with the help of Ansbach & Thiollier (I didn’t use mimic for thematic purposes) & the three of us bodied them
Dude I had no clue the fight could get so grand. I accidently ended up skipping literally every quest besides igon and ansbach, so the only help i had on this fight as ansbach. I had no clue moore could be an adversary. I didint even meet freyja and thiollier
I remember in a Ghost of Tshushima video, the RU-vidr was telling how the player gets to recruit certain important characters for a big fight in the story. But it's not as impactful since you have to recruit them all anyways. In that sense, Elden Ring seems to have done a better job. However, I feel like they have also made a mistake by making some of the quests easily locked. Like, if you enter the Shadow Keep before interacting with certain NPCs, you may as well ignore them.
This and Bayle's fights are favourite. This fight is just pure massacre, all out war between those who saw through Miquella's manipulations and those who followed, the most emotionally heavy fight in a whole ER. I legit wanted to save as many NPCs from that as i could and the best imo was Moore sitting at site of grace, untouched for the whole playthrough, so he can sit there peacefully and be glad that he has you as a friend, the only possible way for him to die after that is if you kill friendly rot roaches. Also just noticed how bloody arena gets after this fight. All the characters bloody and exhausted, with no health left, fighting and saying their last words. Gosh i love Elden Ring
