That any positive accomplishments, thoughts, anything good that happens in your life is not of your own doing but God's doing. If your blessings do not get answered or bad things happen to you your faith was not strong enough, you were not following the doctrine and rules of the Mormon church. All of that seriously screws up personal self-esteem and self-confidence.
