I was in for 30 years an elder for over 20 years. Woke up to the harshness and cruelty and hypocrisy to it all. Disassociated in December of 2015. Fortunately my wife left with me. She was raised in the cult. We have no children and are shunned by all but we have each other. God Bless you!

I was in for 25 years since birth....It was so heartbreaking when i found out the truth....I cried like a baby...But i found Jesus and he has been my rock, my strength my everything..Through God i managed to help my sister come out as well...She is born again like me now...she was equally heartbroken 😭. My entire family is still in there, have shunned me but i believe God is doing something. He will bring them out. My prayers go out to this elder. It is not an easy thing to do

It used to be said that only honest hearted people would seek Jehovahs organisation, at least that is what was stressed upon me when I became one. Of cause I know differently now, the JW's are a very dangerous cult that draws unsuspecting individuals in, and once caught in the web, theres no easy escape.

The audience won’t need to gossip about his reason why he left, as when elders do the formal announcement: So and so is no longer a JW. That is a great idea to save time. I hope many more elders and MS who are thinking about it, will take note and do the same.

Same...i actually have JOY in my heart when I think about or pray to my Holy Father and Jesus. Never had that as a witness. Its beautiful. If they only knew what they were missing!

God led me out from this cult after 7 years of my baptism. I have been on my own since I left them devoting my time to reading and studying the Bible everyday and what I discovered was that anyone can know God and be drawn closer to Him if the seeker of TRUTH is genuinely sincere. I left many years ago.. Didnt see my Sister until she left 15 years later. Her abusive husband, who had multiple affairs was supported by the local congregation while she was cast out. There are many other circumstances here but the most tragic thing is my Sister did not get to see her 4 children grow up. 20 years later, they are all so brainwashed by the Society that they still refuse to speak to her. Beyond sad. I am so grateful that I found the truth of salvation through Christ Jesus and not this heretical organization.

A bit of additional information: The action took place in Leipzig, Germany (East Germany, to be precise, and the town of the protest marches of 1989 that marked the beginning of the end of the regime's "governing body" called politburo ;-)) The man by the first name of Bernd was not an elder, but had been a ministerial servant (a clarification which, of course, is of little importance for the matter). He is friends with the owner of a German Ex-JW RU-vid channel who was glad to hear that Bernd "finally" had decided to leave the organization and who accompagnied him to the event. They both told the viewers (in the video you linked below) that to have the desired effect, such speeches have to be very well prepared because one must expect to be interrupted at any moment. The evening after his speech Bernd got several phone calls from members of the congregation, and hopefully he could plant some seeds, as it is called. He said that he no longer wished to be part of an organization who obviously had left biblical ground and replaced God's commandments by man-made rules and he also said that the book "Crisis of conscience" by Ray Franz hat played a role in his journey towards awakening from the indoctrination .

I’m jealous! I just faded, but wish I had left like that. There’s got to be a huge number of witnesses who are PIMO. The only reason they don’t leave is they know they’ll lose family. And interestingly enough, some witnesses have to choose between family members they’re currently shunning, and those that would shun them if they left. Bottom line: pick which family members you want in your life, and then leave or remain PIMO! Wow, is this psychologically nuts 🥜 or what? This so called “religion” destroys families!!!!!

BUT she has been in for over 60 years as well like you mentioned about your folks. Like you mentioned and as we saw from this great scenario you provided :) there is still perhaps some hope for our family that have been in so long

Tears! This is hope! Praying for you and this man that left. My father accepted Christ on his death bed at 88. He was a JW most all his life. Inactive in the 10 years of life. My sibling prayed with him. He asked them to help him, he was afraid to die because he knew God was going to kick his butt. His words! We rejoiced!

This man cannot go on a platform and tell friends and associates he no longer shares there values and beliefs unless holy spirit is involved. Is not the more probable rational explanation simply that he decided for himself to dissociate rather that an imaginary somewhat conveniently invisible heavenly Jesus or holy spirit assist him. And what has this story got to do with the Jews, bit of a cheap shot directed at them by you, anyway was your Jesus not a Jew.

This is AWESOME! I am only slightly jealous that I didnt think to do this when I left. What an excellent way to foil their one sided shunning practice. Stand up and speak the facts, it is going to take them at least 15 or 20 minutes to get the police there to force you to leave. The amount of things you can say in 10 or 15 minutes could help to wake up lots of people. If everyone started doing this.....at some point, people would begin to realize there must be something to all these people saying the same thing constantly.

What bravery and commitment that gentleman expressed. My parents, grandparents and great-grandparent were all JWs. Ultimately, once awakened, one must decide if integrity of character is more important than relationships with family and community. Without personal integrity, you have nothing. Living what feels like a lie is a sick, hollow, disingenuous existence. Be true to what you believe. You do not need a GB to interpret scripture and be the so-called intermediary agent between you and your Heavenly Father. The message is not so complicated that you need interpreters. Ultimately the Organization seeks to (1) maintain its existence, (2) maintain control and (3) expand control. John 14:6 is very clear.

Hi dear sister, thanks for your great video! Yes, this is Germany. I like the way you talk about Bernd, because in Leipzig they hate him now and in America he is a hero. Why is that? Because in Germany most former Jehovah's Witnesses no longer believe. I think it is a bit better in the USA. I filmed the video and I know Bernd for over 20 years. We met in Israel on a tour with Jehovah's Witnesses. Bernd was long time servant in the congregation not elder and true nearly 40 years connected with the Watchtower Society. I live in Hamburg 4 hours by car away from Bernd in Leipzig. We have taken steps to start a church to be truly with Jesus and worship God. If you have any questions, I'll do my best to answer them. Detlef Behr I would imagine that ALL former jws no longer believe, that is why they are FORMER, don’t you think? But why would that cause them to hate Bernd? And I agree your English is perfect, certainly better than most North American’s (including Canada) German 😆. How did you become so fluent and retain it; I don’t imagine you have occasion to speak English on a daily basis.

We made an appointment with one family before we went to the meeting and after the announcement in the meeting we invited 2 more families who did not know what Bernd did. We had kept everything secret. In Leipzig there is only one big building and there are 4 meetings in it. At the moment there were 2 German gatherings at the same time and after that everything went around and many people knew about it because everyone sends the messages with their Smartphone. I could talk with Bernd's guests until late in the evening. At least some are informed, because most of them are stupid and will stay JW. lots of love Detlef

@@greyberet1 Hi, Larry, Sorry I wrote it a little too short and then something got mixed up. Bernd is no longer liked by the many friends he had as JW. We don't know the former JW because most of them have no faith in Jesus anymore and are no longer known. There are about 90% in Germany who no longer believe in God when they leave the JW. My English is only reasonably good because I use an English program. When I talk, it's really funny to you. Kind regards Detlef

I just found your channel. I’m now a subscriber. My wife and I are still considered “active JW” though we haven’t been to mtg in over three years. The hypocrisy drove us away along with the cliques at the KH. I’m thinking we’re considered active becuz so many are dropping away, the local hall needs to keep their active numbers up - on paper. Our lives are 100% better now.

Good on you Deb. I wish I had been that smart at 10. I believed every word until I was late 30s. It was the blood fractions session on the ministry school in early 2000s that started me thinking about the beliefs. People and the org had disgusted me for years but once I questioned a teaching in my own mind it led to questioning more teachings and then it was bye bye Watchtower. My last meeting was the memorial of 2013.

@@robinsk5644 been out since I was 18 and I’m now 55 nearly 56 I am a pagan if I’m honest I believe in nature and certainly don’t believe in God or Jesus but whatever brings a person comfort I’m all for letting them believe what they want. I certainly never believed in the Jw cult I was always asking questions at 15 I was raped by a brother and I was the one accused of leading him on which was lies my parents still have contact with the guy who raped me but that is their choice if they can choose a rapist over their daughter then that shows me all I need to know this cult is toxic as are my family in it I’m happier out of it

When I found out the Jw were Freemasons I was horrified but God bless our father in heaven for his holy spirt that reveals all things. I am so thankful he opened this man’s eyes. I get those same chills when I see something new in scripture which in a repeat reading I notice something new and so profound I have missed time after time !!! Let's hope he woke up a few JW'S. At least this elder was baptized in the name of the father, the son and the holy spirit. I heard Japanese elders and MS did the same during a meeting as well as an elder in Italy. It’s funny and quite sad the minute someone does something that this organization doesn’t agree with, they quickly raise their arms and hands up pointing someone to the door without question. It’s like their only default action. If this was gods true organization, wouldn’t they instead show concern and say “well brother why do you feel that way? Let’s talk about it”. It’s just so cold how they quickly turn on you. There is no group in the history of any group or organization that can do this like and on and off switch like them. All this does it show how much of a cult it is.

You are so correct. I faded for about 8 months now from my past congregation, and at first I was bombarded with telephone calls and cards, but never responded to any. However, I did speak to the circuit overseer and a few elders about 1914, the faithful slave and governing body, as well a many other so called 'truths' that I did not believe. I did not confront them, but asked them to explain, what I posed as questions I did not understand. None of them were able to answer my questions, and I was constantly being told to wait on Jehovah, because the governing body are humble men who do not have all the answers. I recently met some of the members from my past congregation, and one greeted me and all the others pretended they did not see me. As you said, I have never met another group or organization that can switch love and friendship on and off, so quickly. I repeated these very words recently, and I said just as you did - that' this behavior proves how much of a cult it really is'. I thank the Most High daily, that I was able to see and discern, the lies, abusiveness and wickedness perpetrated by this organisation under the guise of 'truth'. May our Heavenly Father continue to bless all of us who value truth and honesty.

I'm now 47 years old and I was raised as a JW and as a kid it wasn't so bad but as i got older it became hell and i hated it so much and saw things that were wrong etc. Long story short I left first, my father a well respected elder left, and my younger brother finally left and after we all left our family became closer and tighter and actually normal as weird as that may sound. We actually became a normal happy family and we still are in 2021. One thing I say about the elders and the big wigs...they are all BULLIES!!! I mean that literally. Shepherding calls and elders hounding me down trying to get me back all the time...I was like fuck you guys!!! Just leave me alone!!! Bullies I tell you....all bullies. My Pop saw this as well and after a history of this and that my Pop slammed the bar hard to the elders and overseers and committees etc. and threw the towel in and just walked out. He almost kicked one of the elders ass that's how pissed my dad was plus the fact that they were hounding me and harassing me (his son) and he finally had it. So that's my story for you. I have so much more and plan on making a video to share with all of you. Great Video!! A+++++

i finally got out on my own last year and i have never felt better. I have been fortunate that I still remain in contact with my family because i have been DF'd and i dont plan on ever being in a room with elders again ever. It was so controlling and horrible... i just wish the rest of my family would get out.

I've never been in the JW organization, but I enjoy watching this lady's videos! So sorry to see all the lives ruined by them! I did work in a large office with a Jdub, and he was impossible! Best way to describe him, but what really stood out for me was the stupid grin he always had. One of those grins like, I know something that you don't. Lol. Maybe an ex jdub can explain that one! Born and raised JW Baptized at a young age left and was disfellowshiped in early 20s. Father a prominent elder mother and two brothers devout. Parents in over 40years old school. I’m in my late 50s now father passed mother had to come and live with me in her 80s. My brothers who still shun me wouldn’t take care of her. I took her to meetings but gradually brought up things of question in the organization just here and there and eventually I gave her Ray Franz Two books. She read them both and then the dialogue opened up. God opened the door no one could shut. She quit going to meetings and went to church with me. She literally came to life and was so happy. She left the organization and a year later passed peacefully. For those who have loved ones still in don’t ever give up hope. If you would have told me that would happen I would’ve said you’re crazy. Like my Bible reading said this morning, all things are possible with God!

After 46 years, a 4th generation JW, 12 years ago, one day I just stopped going, I successfully faded, will never go back, learned how to fight them when they try and come after me, the Elders were and still are unable to do a thing to me. I have full freedom, learned how to fight the WATCHTOWER Corporation, because the legal department are a bunch of religious, BAR Association morons that are clueless as to how to fight either with their hollow religious doctrines or Caesars rules, policies and statues, they are confused as to how they argue. A number of my other family members faded as well, never to go back.

Many kudos to those of you who have broken free from extraordinarily controlling entities. I can only imagine the sacrifices and the courage that it required. But know this; it’s a cycle. You may have broken free from a tyrannical parent only to replace them with a controlling marital partner. We do this for many reasons. Sometimes it is an opportunity to work out our childhood trauma. Sometimes, simply, because it’s what we are familiar with. Beware, replacing one faulty relationship with another. Finally, recognize your own capacity for controlling others. It is not unusual to have been inculcated into a psychological mindset that drives a hidden battle within yourself. I know because I am an old man who has been there. it is my fervent desire to offer this message of hope and encouragement to all those brave souls that wish to finally heal.

Did you hear of the report from Mike and Kim about a congregations elders all leaving the JW’s at the same time, announcing it in the KH that there was effectively no leadership now for the group. This happened in Japan, they will be posting a video when it’s available.

What a legend. Whether you still believe in God or not, you can’t deny the organisation is run by a few old men in America, not a higher power. My Dad still believes the bible in his own way, and apart from how he’s trying to impart all his views on my siblings and not giving them a balanced view of the world, (basically making the same mistake as JWs) I respect the way he left the organisation because he felt his God wasn’t there and went to go find them.

I had the chance to visit the Greek convention in Germany like maybe 8 years ago, and I was shocked by how uneducated these people are. I felt like talking to villagers. I didn't visit a german congregation, but I did love Germany

That took some serious spiritual courage to do that. I started having question and found the real truths about this cult. I brought this to my wife not knowing the outcome. Thankfully Jesus was with us both because she shared the same concerns as I did. And sadly she was too afraid to bring it to my attention for fear of us divorcing. We both disassociated together and with our two sons never looked back. I've lost my mother and sister. Thankfully I was able to show my brother these atrocities and he left as well. We lost alot of friends and family but gained so much more. Thank you for your videos.

Great news... My mom is 86 yo, been a witness for 60 years, devoted. Just woke up! Me and my older brother woke up first. (We are getting re-baptised next month, when we meet.) And small drips of truthbombs has finally broken the dam for her. But she is scared of letting people down, (She led many to the JW) losing her husband, friends, family and be left with nothing. We live miles away from each other. She`s considering just fading, and stay on zoom for now, keeping a low profile. Very unusual behaviour for her;) As time goes by, and the hipocracy of the GB becomes clearer for her, i hope she finds the courage to Go Out Of Her. And i will pray for that.

Great work you are doing! 1Timothy 4:1 “Now the Spirit says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons” Please keep exposing this group for what they truly are. Charles Taze Russel WAS deep into the occult and his loyalty was to Satan not God. When you research all the cult religions that were born in the 1800s one thing stands out: all of the founders were wolfs in sheep’s clothing guided by demons to purposely mislead as many people as possible under the clever lie of “we have the truth “ Satan is the father of lies and he knew the end of this age was in the next 150-200 years. 1Timothy 4:1 Now the spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons” I continue to pray for God to expose these organizations for what they are that the souls caught up in this will awake and cry out to Jesus as the only way to the father.

I wish to have guts to do it publicly but I will not be allowed to speak out since I am already under suspicion of apostasy. I really hate to enter kingdom hall again. At least I will inform most of them why I will be shunned. I am 66 old woman and I did not do fornication. To prevent guessing why since I am proud to be an apostate from frauds.

That was 4 years ago. It's in Germany and the accent is from ex-east Germany, which means he suffered under persecution during the communist rule if he was a member at this time. He refers to Franzes book Crisis of Conscience, CSA 35.000.000 four years ago (now it's much more). The name is well known. And yes, how courageous. With greetings from Spain.

WOW WOW, I got goosebumps the moment you started to read his prayer, thank the Lord that another JW has woken up, after 30 or so years I too woke up, of cause I now get shunned, but I soon got over that, to me it wasn't so hard because I don't have a family, for that organization to turn them against me, I firmly believe that if the shunning policy was removed, there would be a mass exodus from the Watchtower.
