It's more powerful when everyone speaks Te Reo & understands the significance & reaches to their tipuna (ancestoes) for inspiration while invoking the power of the gods To bring power from on high
I've just discovered these videos. Amazing! The warrior brotherhood is epic. I've watched Haka at weddings, funerals, schools, a respected teacher retiring and all the students performed this.. dance..tribute, respect, honor...there are so many descriptions! We have nothing in the west to even come close to it. Respect & appreciation from America!
You literally destroyed your own indigenous culture and peoples of the continent of North America. There were more than 50 Indigenous Languages, Cultural Groups which are now facing extinction. Europeans when came to the land of America are responsible for every sin done against Indigenous Americans.
I am just going to say it is just bloody fabulous 👌 👏 👍 😍 I love the haka and can watch good ones all day and probably everyday if I could it's the most awe inspiring custom there could ever be, brings me to tears love you all.and thanks for sharing it with world.
We in the west have a lot to learn from these people especially we black people the love here just brings tears to my eyes it's just amazing to see that in today's time we people are still like this
The black of the West are of no use seriously. Because they're the ones who are indigenous to the land of America but even then they let their identity, their language their tradition get destroyed by the hands of Invader Europeans headed by Amerigo Vespucci and Christopher Columbus.
I adore the Maori's and their culture. Beautiful people. I lived there for 4 years (Scottish) but had to go to Australia because my mother was dying. I still miss it enormously. My mother had bagpipes at her funeral. The Scots and Maori's respect each other.
Wow. Thanks for posting this. It just popped up in my feed. Brought back a lot of memories of the best 18 months I’ve ever spent. I needed this. ‘05- ‘07 FJM
@@CarolynDenison he didn’t die 😂 he was being sent off to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Male missionaries for our church serve a mission after turning 18 and they serve for 2 full years with no contact except emails and phone calls twice a year one for Mother’s Day and the other is Christmas. Our missionaries are sent all over the world..
I am so ignorant of cultures I'm ashamed of myself. I thought this was something only Hawaiians or Samoans did. I need to brush up on my cultural understanding. Is this even in Hawaii or samoa?
