Both drummers are very good at what they do, I was particularly glad the first gave it to the 2nd without any grudges. That is what we need in our industry. The whole team did amazing. As for James Mireku , he is still a mystery on the keyboard for me. What !
Watched this video again as it popped up on my timeliine and oh dear! Bato is creatively talented! Look at the variation in his arrangements. And for those of you who understand Twi, listen to Francis Amo @ 8:06 complimenting his performance by talking about how he is tempted to give him all his money; hilarious! 😂🤌🔥
The first drummer was playing really nice and following flow. Guy is totally good and the change in drummers just ruined the flow. I won’t lie, first guy was doing magic
You guys talk to much. It was amazing. They are all good drummers. Besides he also has to contribute his quota. Maybe you need to follow that guy too. He is a superb drummer 🔥👌🏽
OK boss keyboardist Like he can play better than James 😂 What grooves is he even talking about. Do you even understand the groove you are talking about. Masa snr is snr. James is the best in all. Learn ur music well
@@nanaadjei4900James is good there’s no doubt. But did you hear the other keyboardist? No because James is overshadowing him. I have played the keys with James before and it looks like it’s his thing
We need to stop doing this! The first drummer came and was playing sooo well(was feeling him ruff), the second one came and spoilt the whole thing, he wasn’t all that…You should never swap mid gig cause like in this case the first drummer set the mood with his style and he was complimenting the singer soooo well, whereas the second was more of a show off…let the song finish and then swap abbaaaa Mtchew
First things first, don't rob yourself of a great performance by watching this video without earphones/headphones!!! Key points in this video: 1. That intro from James Mireku @ 4:35 is pro-solid and even made sweeter by Kofi Emma's fantastic close marking on the drums. 2. When Bato took over and things were moving deep into hi-life arena, Osei Poku had to go all the way back to the 80s to bring bass lines from George Darko's 'Akoo te Brofo'...Super awareness from Osei Poku; you could clearly see the excitement on Bato's face when Osei Poku did that at 7:15. You can see his fellow bassist acknowledging his creativity with a shoulder tap at 7:20. The sky is the limit for Osei Poku! 3. Francis Amo is a very smart, creative and adaptable lead singer. 4. Bato's great hi-life accented drumming skills ended up 'gingering' Francis Amo even the more! 8:01. 5. Dickson was also in between killing it all the way through. Clean lead guitarist! Generally, it was such a great production and performance by all the guys.
