Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Dark Brotherhood is an absolute masterpiece 

Yeah, I just don't see it you must have got to get your eyes checked, like have you even seen imagery on Renaissance art? Maybe you should take another look at others because all there is to see is the classic Gamebryo engine/Bethesda's Creation Engine greatness and monstrosity of a character creation mechanic, sliders and numbers, the quality is just too "new" even in 144p, it looks too good for that type of thing, must be why there's only less than a hundred Likes not enough people are tricked into seeing it or sheeple and yes man it. It looks more like that shitty restored version of the Virgin Mary, you KNOW the one I am talking about, if not just google it and feel bad you didn't know or had never seen it because it's a good one and you should have seen it earlier, it's "worth it" Still, it is OLD news not just literally "old" as the painting itself but the restoration failure is still fairly new in a sense but old because of how fast the internet movies. I.E. Mario's Chris Pratt VA, the "Sussy Baka" thing which is dying out, Sonic The Hedgehog 2 or even the original VA for Mario in media up to this current year of 2023 sometime after the Mario movie came out, retiring and living out the rest of his days in a quieter life.

It's not just routines, they had lives. Same thing with morrowind too. The game was not dependent on you to exist, the world inside the game existed wether you were involved or not, they all go to work, go to friends homes, go do creepy stuff at night, etc.

​@kuura8731 having good ai is dated and goofy looking? The issues with oblivion looking goofy had everything to do with a face morphs error and physics, and nothing to do with the AI, the AI is better than 99% of tripple A games today.

@@tortellinifettuccine Morrowind NPC's did not have schedules or routines, at all. Their merchants will literally stand around in the same spot 24/7 always providing service, and never eating or sleeping lol.

@Jim_Lahey_88 they did????? That's why it was so well received, and why it was considered a unique rpg...many of the quests relied on waiting for specific times for specific characters to be there... The merchant thing is true but I mean yeah its an OLD game.

Plenty of creators still do long form content, but yeah, the algorithm does not favor it. Which is idiotic since the number of people who like it is not insignificant.

Tbf this type of content so regularly is only possible with an editing team. An hour of pretty chopped up footage…I can’t imagine how long the raw video was to edit. It’s enjoyable to watch because he clearly loves this game! Haha

​@@RenegadeVile RU-vid cares very little about the diversity of its watchers, even if one of the "minorities" is very large and rakes in a decent amount of money. It only cares about short term profit and making it as much as possible even if it means alienating many of its viewers. I really despise the short content that's jam packed with insane eye catching editing and the narrator speaking so fast you can barely keep up, I much prefer playthroughs like Kevin's. There are a lot of content creators that only care about catering to young children so they make their videos as chaotic as possible to keep their interest. It's a shame.

Makes me wonder whats the point of the mod. I assumed it was to improve the graphics, but youre saying it looks worse? To clarify, i never played Oblivion, i only know it because of Kevin and watched the originals videos so long ago i dotn even remenber how it looked. So it will take your word for it about the look of their faces.

@@pedrovallefin8406 It didn't look like the mod increased textures, maybe a little, but a lot of the NPCs had completely different face shapes.

@@pedrovallefin8406 That's kind of silly, just take 3 minutes and look at whether it improved it or not yourself. IMO it is an improvement. Not a major one, but an improvement nonetheless.

Yeah Lucien’s death hit me pretty hard. I can’t play all the way through the dark brotherhood quest line anymore.

I was really happy to get the Specrtral Assassin Spell in Skyrim to find out that it was, in fact, Lucien LeChance getting his due by getting a place next to Sithis's side as his loyal servant for eternity.

I was playing that quest when I was younger and I was so thrown and upset I immediately uninstalled XD

Sound bars were already a thing way back then? I was playing Oblivion on my flat screen CRT's built in speakers lmao, I don't think I even heard of a sound bar until many years later. Obviously I knew of surround sound and other speaker systems, but I thought sound bars didn't come around until fairly recently
