Great video series - I really hope you continue this. I like the learn as you go approach that is markedly different from other content creators because it mirrors what my experience would be while learning the game. Hope to get my kickstarted game soon so this is really whetting my appetite. Regarding you questions on choosing a class and if you need to play the Jailbreak scenario every time, I ran the rules PDF though Google's NotebookLM and got these answers: Here's information from the sources about choosing a class: To begin, you can choose a class in one of two ways: open choice or the Jailbreak Introduction Encounter. Open Choice: Select any of the available class sheets. Jailbreak Introduction Encounter: Your class choices depend on your achievements during this encounter, which is recommended for your first campaign. No, you do not have to play the Jailbreak Introduction Encounter every time you start a campaign. The sources state that playing the Jailbreak Introduction Encounter is "strongly recommended" for a player's first campaign, as it introduces players to the battle rules and determines class choices based on achievements in the encounter. However, the Jailbreak Introduction Encounter is optional; the sources describe an alternative method for choosing a class called "open choice" where players can choose any of the available classes. The sources also state that if you decide to play the Jailbreak Introduction Encounter and are unhappy with the classes you unlocked through your achievements, you can still choose from the remaining classes (that other players didn't choose) if you forfeit any tenacity and items you earned during the encounter. I don’t watch many playthroughs (just not my preferred content) but this is the type that I love. Watching along as you learn and hearing evolving thoughts is great. Looking forward to more assuming you keep enjoying too.

You were concerned about 1/2 though about people watching. I liked how you did this. It feels very close to how new players will experience TES if they haven't watched all the videos and pre-read the rules 10 times like some of us freaks :D. I enjoyed your video. Looking forward to the rest!

FYI, the stat tokens (square colored pieces in your player mat" the arrow points towards the token it is representing. So red will point to the heart token.

The heck why not just say: On your turn you may perform one of the following mutualy exclusive action sequences: (move + engage/move) or (engage + move) or (explore). You may forfeit any action. I feel like rulebooks should explain everything as an algorithm and/or decision tree. But maybe thats just my brain

Hey Neon G - I cant wait to watch this series and your final thoughts on it. I was this |-| close to backing this and I might regret it but I watched several play throughs and the game felt incredibly slow. Like time playing vs reading and setting up etc. Perhaps I am wrong, but either way, cant wait to hear your thoughts.

I think 100 hours is pretty ambitious. I'd say 15 hours is enough to get a decent impression of the game and you're going above and beyond. Don't burn yourself out but if you're having fun go for it.
