All his people were Israelites (including Moses) who's God said "speak unto the CHILDREN OF ISRAEL. Also when Jesus prayed he prayed to his maker. In any case, Jesus had twelve with him, he was amongst others but he was dedicated to a 'family',, Israel and the children of Israel.
