Elder Tribesperson Tries Vaping for the first time 

Written disclaimer: Seriously? I feel so dumb writing this but Chacha Abdul has been smoking since past 14 years now. I have chronic allergies to smoke and I have developed sinusitis a couple of times by just inhaling a second hand smoke of a cigarette. Chacha probably smokes 3-4 cigarettes off camera and he wishes he could smoke on camera as well. I think he should, we are no one to decide what's good or bad for others (unless it doesn't harm others) and that's my personal opinion. We all are addicted to different things btw!

I'm a smoker and never seen somebody smoke like that. Tried it and it really brings out the tobacco smell instead of just the chemicals. Thank you sir for sharing knowledge, now I'll enjoy my smokes even more and who knows, maybe smoke less.

That's an interesting method of smoking. I live in Alaska and have gone out to some native villages in the interior a couple of times, and there were people who smoked like that. I've been told it's not quite as harsh on the lungs because the smoke cools a bit before you inhale it. Not a smoker myself, but it's interesting to see different methods.

I smoked 47 years and couldn't quit. Even having COPD didn't stop me. I was to the point of not being able to go up a flight of stairs without stopping and resting for 5 minutes. I had tried *EVERYTHING* literally, timers, gum, patches, hypnosis, acupuncture, I MEAN everything. I saw someone at work with one of these when they first came out, and tried one. TWO DAYS LATER, I wasn't a smoker anymore. Now 12 years later, my lungs ARE CLEAR. CT scan a couple months ago was CLEAR. I even go hiking again, and stairs don't bother me. *I CAN BREATHE AGAIN!!* No more WHEEZING after 25 feet of walking!! There is no doubt in my mind that these have extended my life tremendously!! I try to convert everyone I see who smokes to vaping. I hope with ALL MY HEART he's able to do this (they don't work for everyone). He'll feel SO much better. Just let him know that for the first 6 months or so, he'll cough *A LOT,* while all the tar is cleared out of his lungs. 6 Months to a year he'll still have mild cravings for cigarettes, and STAYING AWAY from others smoking helps. You also NEED to grab the vape for EVERY urge!! I started with a "pen" type at a high nicotine level (18mg) and slowly cut that down. I'm at 6mg now with a tank type, and it works fine. I like the tank because it will last all day without having to refill, and they also have 2 batteries, so that lasts the whole day too. SERIOUSLY, don't give them ANY GRIEF over this!! I *_applaud_* their trying to make him *HEALTHIER!!* May Allah give him the strength to switch!!

I was a smoker for 15 years. I very much enjoyed it. For a long time, there was nothing better than a cigarette with my morning coffee. I've been vaping for the last 4 years and the difference is amazing. I can breathe again, I don't smell like smoke all the time, there aren't ashes everywhere. It takes some time to get used to a vape, sometimes a few weeks to a few months. You cough a lot in the beginning because your lungs are so full of tar. I'll never forget coughing it all up over a few weeks. I still miss cigarettes and occasionally when I'm drinking I will have a few but I don't smoke them daily anymore.

Sadly, his advice at the end to not start smoking is mostly being covered-up by RU-vid recommendations (i.e. the subtitles are hidden). In this case it might be more prudent to disable them for this video otherwise the message you might wish to make known is lost.

How random! my parents both got this type of vaping cigarette from my brother for christmas this year. They both have been smoking for over 20 years and def wont stop now. Also like Mr. Abdul they believe that its not about the lifestyle but about god how long you'll be staying here on this Earth. Look, they've been smoking, I and my brothers never touch it, so here's that. At their age tryin to save something or be all rightious about not smoking is nosensical, they'll stop when they'll need to. I love this video because you're not trying to make him feel any less infirior just because he's smoking. A a European I feel like there's in general more people with that mindset that their doing people the service of constantly shaming them for smoking. But that's truly just with minority of idividuals. Like I say, let adults live the way they want. If it's children than that's a different kind of matter of course. I was a smoker on and off for about 4 and a half years. I wasn't a chain smoker or anything. I only smoked about 3-4 cigarettes a day. That's all I could handle. And I couldn't smoke another cigarette right after the other. Made me feel very queasy. After researching the risks involved in vaping, I decided to go that route back in 2019. I will occasionally vape, but I am not ADDICTED to it. Other words, I don't feel the extreme cravings for it. I pick my favorite juices (flavors) and stick with them. It also tastes and smells a lot better than tobacco smoking. I also tried cigars and cigarillos in the past, but they weren't really my thing. They make your fingers and mouth smell bad for quite a while. For most people, to each their own. It's their life how they want to treat it. Let them smoke. We all will die someday.

This is so when you are sharing one "joint" with many friends, when you smoke it how Abdul is smoking his cigarette, nobody's lips touch the "joint" so sickness or flu is not passed among the friends :) Abdul knows how its done! 👍👍

I wished there were more herbal e juices. Like with Lemon Balm and Sage. Lemon Balm gives a nice relaxing feeling when smoked. Sage has nicotine like effects but also alot of variation depending on what sage it is. Some sage is strongly hallucinogenic. And some are only very mildly so.

In my younger days I smoked regular tobacco and the wacky kind. Even tried a hookah once. None of that made me cough as much as when I tried vaping. Fortunately, I stopped all of the fun stuff about 12 years ago. I have never seen someone smoke the way he does though. And he's right. It doesn't matter what the warning labels are. Smokers will smoke until they decide to put in the tremendous effort required to stop.

I vape. And something I noticed is that it's not that hard to stop if you have to. Withdrawals are very mild.

Ecigs are less harmful than traditional burning tobacco. The most harmful elements of tobacco smoking is the combustion products. Yes, nicotine is addictive. In my opinion it's better to vape than to smoke because when vaping there are no combustion products. It's a concept called 'less harm'.

I know that even though smokers know it's bad for their health, it doesn't matter. It is an addiction and it's hard to stop the habit. I know, because I too have that habit..

This is more of a slice of life video. The Elder already smokes and is trying a different means of smoking. Of course these days we are told to condemn smoking, but drinking excessively is encouraged. We all have our addictions and vices. Show me someone without.

Here in Canada cannabis is now legal for recreational use. I used to smoke cannabis regularly to help with my sleep because I have such vivid dreams I often can't tell that I'm dreaming. When I dream I often feel physical touch and experience taste and smell in my dreams. Sometimes I have a dream that's disturbing and it can take quite a while to calm down after I wake up. This is why I use cannabis since it allows me to sleep without dreaming but I've noticed that smoking it is hard on my throat and my sinuses even without having any effect I've noticed on my lungs yet. I tried vaping cannabis concentrates and at first it seemed better but the downside is that it is a concentrated oil so when you vaporize it that results in more oil vapor in your lungs than just smoking. Much of this oil vapor condenses into oil again in your lungs and that's probably why I started to feel short of breath a few weeks into vaping. I think the condensed oil in my lungs was blocking oxygen from transferring into my bloodstream and more importantly blocking carbon dioxide from being expelled from my bloodstream which can lead to poisoning of the blood. I've never tried vaping nicotine or tobacco products and the only tobacco I've smoked was that I briefly smoked flavored thin cigars but I quit that when I noticed I started to get cravings for it so I can't say much from experience with tobacco but I suspect that tobacco vaping involves the same problem as cannabis vaping. Nowadays I just eat cannabis products instead of smoking or vaping.

Chacha does have an unusual way of smoking . I wonder what their reaction would be to a woman smoking . Hopefully Pakistani cigarettes are pure tobacco and don't have chemicals in them like cigarettes around the world.

I've got many experiences of trying cigerettes, hookah, cigars etc. but i never felt drawn in by it for it to become a habit. But one time I actually smoked a cigerette like that just for fun, so I was supprised to see it was actually a thing haha.

if you do manage to get your hands on cigars, you will also need cutters, and you have to remember that you don't inhale cigar smoke. they're all about the taste and flavor, so go SLOW and hold the smoke in your mouth before exhaling. I'd also suggest starting with something mild like a montecristo or churchill. going from cigarettes, hookah, and vapes to cigars is a big difference.

I went from smoking two packs of Newports a day to quitting entirely in just one day with vaping. I only started vaping because I was chain smoking at my desk and had just bunged up a second motherboard. I figured I'd try vaping at my desk instead of smoking. It wasn't that I exactly liked vaping better, but I definitely got enough nicotine to satisfy me so I just never smoked again. I had just bought two cartons of smokes the day before too. Ended up giving them away. It's been 10 years now, never smoked again. I still vape though, but now I just make my own liquid, it's pretty easy and way cheaper than buying it. I make mine to 3mg strength.

This is how some people smoke weed in my area when they pass around a joint. I guess to avoid putting the same cig in their mouths.

I did try smoking before but I never got into it. I always found cigarettes disgusting but I still did it because my friends did. I never smoked outside of my friend group though. Hookah, however, I loved that! I don't smoke it as often as I did in high school before but when I meet up with my friends from high school we still go for a hookah sometimes. That happens maybe a few times in a year though haha.

If you love smoking cigarettes then it's unlikely you'll like vaping. But if you like cigarettes but also looking for a solution to quit cigarettes then I highly recommend vaping. You need to want to quit real tobacco for it to work. I'm 49 years old. I smoked cigarettes pretty heavily for 16 years. I found out about e-cigs in 2008 and decided to try it as a replacement for smoking. It worked very well for me and I haven't had a cigarette ever since. My respiratory health has returned 100% and that was my Doctor's opinion! As long as you're over 18 and use them how they're supposed to be used and don't use cheap poisonous chinese vape products, it does not negatively affect your health at all. But yeah I want to reiterate that if you're under 18 or have never smoked before, don't use them. Find yourself another hobby. I also want to say that I support any adult smoker who enjoys smoking and doesn't want to quit. It's their choice! So leave them alone.
