Elderly Parole 

I agree with Burl Cain, he’s a very knowledgeable, experienced man. I’m certain he would never seek release for someone that would even remotely be a risk to society. This law would be for non violent, non sex offenders.

I know an elderly inmate at Angola. I sat through his trial a couple of years ago where ten male adults testified that he raped them as children. There were victims spanning every decade of his life, in all arenas. Some people deserve to die in prison. I'd be agreeable to some NON VIOLENT elderly being set free..... but, they should certainly have to serve more than just ten years.

I don't like that proposal for law because violent criminals and sex offenders aren't the only ones behind bars that the public needs to be saved from..60 isn't old enough not to be a possible threat anymore..They need to do their time.. Simply provide these institutions with adequate medical facilities and train other inmates to provide basic medical needs and life saving methods..
