A video for my prop page Elderprops.com. The book has the outer design from the Evildead 2013 movie and the interiors from the classic ones. You can dowload all the pages over here: elderprops.com/necronomicon-ev...
Got a couple questions if you don't mind. Did you print the pages your self? If so was it 14 inch legal? And if you did print them did you have problems with the ink running from the aging process? And I'm trying to figure out the order of the pages based on the way you have them printed out. Think I figured it out but thought I'd ask about it. I was having trouble because of the way the pages fold and stack together. Thanks!
Hello! Yes, pages printed with regular ink will get destroyed when aging the paper with water, so I always make photocopies of all my pages that that's what I actually use to make my books. Either that or you can print them with a laser printer, both laser printers and photocopy machines use toner instead of ink which is basically like printing with plastic so it's 100% waterproof and will stay intact during the aging process. I use “Folio” size paper (21.59×33.02 cm) Regarding page ordering. It really depends on the way you will put the book together. I started using "perfect binding" that is basically just stacking all pages and gluing them together for that you simply print all pages regularly on both sides. But later I started sewing the pages together and for that you do need all the book to be in a very strange order before printing it out since pages usually stack in groups of 4 and then fold. For that I use an option in Adobe InDesign called "Print Booklet" like here: elderprops.com/gravity-falls-journal-3-part-2-printing/ I haven't looked for an alternative to InDesign but I imagine there must be some piece of software somewhere that reorders pages automatically...
JC Porcel, awesome! Thank you so much for the info. I beleave I got the order right based on what you have said here. Came up with my own system on the photo editor i use. Pretty much 2 images on the front and back of each page and when you fold them and stack them they all end up in the order you numbered them. Again, thank a ton for this.
I do not quite understand how from the individual pages in the pdf file to fold the correct pages and print, prompt a podilust or remove a separate video, I think many will be grateful!)
Hey, I went to do a Necronomicon with a hybrid of both the original and 2013 pages, but the pages for the ED2 won't let me change the colour from black to blood red? I was wondering if you had any tips.
Hey man, I tried to download the pdf file of the 2013 necronomicon, but the file only had the gravity falls journal pdf. Could you change it to the correct one?
Hi :) great work , can you please tell me what are the dimension of the pages ? and does anyone here knows the real dimension of the evil dead one book pages ? please let me know :)
I use “Folio” size paper (21.59×33.02 cm) to print my stuff so one face of every sheet of paper will have 2 pages of the normal book. I have a tutorial about the gravity falls book i make, but the principle is the same: elderprops.com/tutorials/gravity-falls-bookbinding/
Can anyone help me with the image source for the actual pictures of necronomicon pages...... And for all of the 161 pages if possible...... I tried searching for Google but could not find all the pages ......m looking to make my own DIY so that's why...... Great video that was...... But was expecting something more towards the necronomicon touch with the scripts and the illustrations..... But beautiful it is indeed
Amazing, first time I’ve seen someone do a leather one with stitching! That’s how the real face would of been placed on the book, I have the patches but can you tell me what your dimensions are for your pages? The print outs were off, so I’m guessing I need the right paper
Sorry, but I'm dumb, how to print the Necronomicon 2013 now, so that the pentagram coincides into a single whole on one sheet, I spoiled so much paper, take it off again please, one last time I ask and I will lag behind.
Hello! You can please create a PDF file of the book necronamicon 1981, so as not to turn the pages and look somehow, and already ready opened and printed. Thanks for earlier!
The pages on this book don't have any real order. I just put them in the book in the order I made them. You can print them in whatever order you like, theres no need to arrange them. Well, you could go with the order in one of the movies... but since they were diferent from each other, I never ordered them in any way.
@@JCRandom And how you printed them so that two images were on the same sheet, materials on gravity fol, I watched, but how to combine these drawings I did not understand ......
@@user-kp8ql8qm1j Yes, the gravity falls book is the only one with special order in the pages, that's why I made those special files. But this one does not need that special order. To print two pages per sheet I use some extra configuration when printing. Here is a photo of my settings to print 2 pages per sheet of paper vertically: elderprops.com/printing-double-vertical-pages/
I used a version of Sealemon's bookbinding technique. Here is a very deteiled tutorial: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XGQ5P8QVHSg.html Or you can choose any another bookbinding style you prefer, her channel has lots of different types of stitches on her bookbinding playlist over here: ru-vid.com/group/PL2F704E01F80BA1E9
um sorry me again but can you give me the measurements of the paper and leather and the type of stitch you did for the bindings and as well the cover and the measurements of the whole book
Hello! I print my pages using FOLIO size paper (33.02x21.06 cm) As you can see I put 4 pages into each paper sheet. You can download the individual pages here: bit.ly/elderprops-evildead-2013. The covers are made of two 17x22cm pieces of "trupan" or Medium-density fibreboard (MDF). For the leather I just added about 2 cm extra to each side. Every technique i use for assembling the book I learned on this awesome channel: ru-vid.com/group/PL2F704E01F80BA1E9 There are all the very detailed tutorials you will ever need from creating the textblock to covering the book.
whats the number of pages of the book of necronomicon??? very cool work man...but need some days n dirt and rain and sun to give it more hamm weathering jejejeje but reali good job
Can you help me with the picture source of the actual necronomicon book pages or even better if you can suggest me a link from where I might find the replica of the same
I used the thickest needle and thread I could find and just put back together the pieces i had cut. And all the extra color are acrylic paints with a bit of water so the color is not too strong
