Sorry for sneaking into a daughter's conversation 😅. But I have to tell that as a Asian it is even harder to be the eldest. If our siblings will get f#cked up it'd be an our fault 😢 And I agree with you that we should stay away from useless conversations. I naturally don't like to talk much about useless things. No don’t apologize at all! So happy to hear from you again :) YES culture is also such a big part in this. I mainly called it “eldest daughter” because that’s what the internet’s been calling this and that was my experience, but I am certain this applies to a whole variety of people (unfortunately)
