how do you feel about leanchoilia or more traptantalizing tunes to be able to recycle your transaction rollbacks more, similar to how paleo decks do it?
It’s definitely an option, and something I should test more. It would help a ton with the grind game for sure. However it doesn’t help on that first turn when you need to stop them from building a board or need to break their board. If you use leanchoila I think you should also use that one trap where you banish it from grave and they cannot attack you or your monsters that turn
Love that you take your fav deck and make it so competitive, you inspired me to test out new techs and stuff for my own pet deck (Floowandereeze, yeah i know i will get hate for enjoying birds but whatever lol). Keep up the work mate, make golden lord meta
Thanks man! Yea the fact that 10 years after GOAT format (2005 yu gi oh) ended people were still innovating, creating new decks and combos, gives me inspiration. Yu Gi oh is super complicated, we have tons of different cards, we don’t need to just accept that certain decks are the only competitive ones. Keep up the grind, savor the science, and enjoy the game!
Could you explain more upon how u able to search barrier statue on your very first turn or 2nd turn ,thanks i would love to learn your concept against the oppenent in MD
Sure thing! You search barrier statue by summoning toy soldier while you have a toy box on the field. Since you still need to normal summon the barrier statue you usually want to special summon toy soldier. You can do this by sending it to grave while it’s a spell using Eldlich effect in hand or in grave, using magicians souls effect to draw cards, or a second toy box to destroy spells you have. That’s going first. Going 2nd it’s the same, but getting to the light statue will be less of a priority than trying to break their board
@@nicoll257 “You can Set this card from your hand to your Spell & Trap Zone as a Spell. You can only use each of the following effects of "Toy Soldier" once per turn. If this Set card in the Spell & Trap Zone is sent to the GY: You can Special Summon this card. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Toy Box" from your Deck to your hand, or, if you control "Toy Box", you can add 1 Level 4 LIGHT monster instead.” It works this way in the real game too, Masterduel is programmed to follow all the same rules and has a massive community that would find any and all inconsistencies instantly. In the real game the toybox engine is more popular than it is in Masterduel because they have level 4 light monsters we won’t have for a few months that pair really well with toybox called the white forest cards
Honestly it totally is, grass into a copy of rollback or two plus elemental burst or evenly (or even karma cannon if you need it) can be awesome and lets this deck way more easily
I certainly would, basically just removing all the rollbacks, thrust, grass, ect should get it down to 45, which should give it a lower ceiling but higher consistency
I really gotta say this video is quite good, good enough to sub. I like that you voice out your thoughts. I actually made a new account to try this deck out (sadly I cant really build the ed rn but the maindeck is the same) very instructive.
Great video as always! Congrats on the 1k subs. I've been running similar builds, except I replace the eldlich engine with a committed Paleozoic engine (3x marrela, 2x canadia, 2x olenoids, 2x dinomiscus, 2-3x leancholia, 1x each of opabinia and anomalocaris). I'm gonna try the toy box engine mysef and see what synergies it can make with paleos. taking another look at the toy box engine, it can search mathmech circular. I think in theory you can run a very small math engine with toy box (1 circular, 1 sigma, 1 equation, 0-1 superfac) although I think light barrier would add more value overall. I might try it for myself and see
@@MattDawgGaming you could also explore(in a different build) running the ritual to search the souls, a nadir package(nadir/dogmatika punishment/ecclesia) to send blu ii, and then run necro fusions for magia.
