Thanks for sharing the experience of a new CW op and the KH-1. I am currently learning CW and managed my first POTA CW hunt yesterday. My target radio is the KH-1 once I am proficient. I am happily using my Xiegu G90 at the moment. Keep up the videos! It helps me see what others are experiencing as a new CW operator. Thank you again.

Fine article and activation. It would have been interesting to try 15 and 17m with your wire antenna. Great job all around! You have a nice stable of QRP rigs that will serve you well.

Thanks for the comment, it was just a couple of odd bits of thin wire really, at approximately 60ft. The tuner on the KH1 seems to tune very well indeed, it probably wasn’t the most efficient but it worked, just 😀 73, Lee.
Right at my level for someone just getting into CW and having used it in a couple of POTA hunts and activations! Can I ask where and how you managed to get a KH1? I can't seem to find much information on EU/UK suppliers!
