I prefer one candidate over another in the upcoming election. I like the fact that Jeff pokes fun at both of them. If I can't handle jokes about the candidate I like, I need to shut up in regard to jokes about the candidate I don't like. Long Live comedians who poked fun at everyone and everything
It is perfectly OK to poke fun at both but my problem is (don't get me wrong, I love Jeff fa fa) that he said he wouldn't do political jokes like this then he comes out with a special where he does a whole bit on Biden but he never (to my knowledge) did one for tRUMP even with all the material to work with. Update: just a few minutes in and I guess I was wrong. He did do tRUMP back in 2016. Still, he does seem to go harder on Biden especially with reinforcing lies about the election in that 1 bit near the beginning. Ok, shutting up now and watching the rest. 😁

@@rexluscus68 Well...to be honest, between Joetato Burden's inability to speak coherent sentences, or walk, or read a teleprompter, or have a single victory in 3.5 years, (but he's done one hell of a job destroying the economy, and allowing open borders) the jokes just write themselves. President Trump, as any larger than life public figure is also an easy target bc of his mannerisms, his unique voice, and his hair...but as far as his policy and what he did for the middle class, well those 4 years, and the next 4 years, speak for themselves...
I love that Jeff Dunham and Dave Chapelle are able to take the piss out of both sides equally. Two bastions of real comedy just waiting for the rest to take off the pearls and return to entertainment.
I love how Jeff manages to make the characters feel truly alive, like he's genuinely conversing with living puppets, and we believe it. He sells it so well and the result is hilarious. Here's hoping he never, ever gets cancelled. This guy's too good!
Yes! I love these with Walter portraying Hiden and Grump! I wish Jeff would make more because God knows this administration has given him loads of material to use! And we can all do with more laughs!
I know your comment is friendly and all intentions good, when we die, we go to sleep until Jesus wakes us in the end.. Dependent on the choices you have made your soul is either in paradise or eternal anguish ! The body part comes later when some will receive a new and perfected body while some will end up on the compost pile of simmering doo doo and all the great stuff that comes with it.

The problem is that people do not think critically any more. That has to be taught, it does not just come naturally. Oops, sorry, the show was called "D.C.Follies" . It was about a bar in Washington DC called club DC with Fread Willard as the bartender and political puppets by Sid and Marty Kroft with other special guests thrown in for good measure.

I may not be American, but I can laugh at jokes about both candidates. More so one over the other, obviously, but I can laugh at both. Even the guy I prefer isn't immune to criticism
Is probably easier to laugh BECAUSE you're not American. For us, it's more of a "whistling past the cemetery". Hard to laugh at the covid jokes once learn that Trump's behavior was responsible for 300k "excess deaths". Most of the jokes from "Hiden" in this would've fit more accurately from "Grump", which made the comedy seem a bit confused. Not to mention the knowledge of how many saying how funny this was, are the same who will say SNL is completely unfunny, just because they have more accurate jokes about Trump. Because even our comedy has become about culture-war politics.
