Every one use to feel proud of his father. but I am proud of respected father of respected Lavasa ji who practiced above rag and dwesh . I consider him saint like Raja Janak who was saint being in kingdom. Salute to all of u who explored such personality.

As a regular viewer of kitabwala, but did not read any recommended book, I would like to just comment that there are very few episodes which needs re-visit and rewatch that episode to understand and follow the simple thing. There are many constraints to read book, but hearing the writer also gives a depth to watch in life and follow.

किताबवाला तो खास है कि उससे ज्यादा जो बात इसे खास बनाती है वो है सौरभ सर जिस आत्मीयता के साथ इसे (बाकी कार्यक्रम भी) प्रस्तुत करते है|🙏🏼 जिस तरह से वो बाऊ जी बोल के संबोधन कर रहे थे, ऐसा लगा जैसे अपने ही पिता की बात कर रहे हों, ऐसा भावनात्मक जुड़ाव ही किताब केवल पढ़ने और उसे समझने मे अन्तर बताता है| आपको कोटि कोटि प्रणाम 🙏🏼

सौरव जी किताबवाला जैसा शो लाने के लिए आपका धन्यवाद, मैं almost सारे एपिसोड देख चुका हूँ, आप बहुत ही अच्छे से समझाते हैं। बहुत दिनो से मुझे आपकी सिर्फ़ एक बात से problam है आप Almost हर भाग के अंत में जब आप बोलते है कि, “और सिलसिला चलता रहे किताबें पढ़ने का” मेरा ऐसा मानना है की यहाँ आपको बोलना चाहिए “और सिलसिला चलता रहे अच्छी किताबें पढ़ने का” क्यूँ की मेरे हिसाब से आज कि दुनिया में बहुत सी दिक्कत ग़लत किताबें पढ़ने की वजह भी है। वैसे आपका कार्य बहुत ही प्रसंशनीय है और इसने मेरे जीवन में कुछ सकारात्मक बदलाव लाए है।

Ashok Lavasa had his first posting as SDM in my hometown Mahendergarh in early 80s. I wanted to know more about what happened in his tenure here in Mahendergarh then including the incident Saurabh mentioned. Besides, this story of a extraordinary simple man was great.

लवासा सर आप एक बहुत ही कर्तव्य निष्ठ और ईमानदार अधिकारी है, आज पता चला यह संस्कार पीढ़ी दर पीढ़ी ट्रान्सफर होते है...जैसे ही आपके बाबू जी में संस्कार थे उसी तरह आप में भी, शायद इसी ईमानदारी की वजह से आपको इलेक्शन कमीशन डिपार्टमेंट छोड़ना पड़ा होगा।

Listened to the whole show. Very gripping story. Have a lot of connections with the book. I live in America but was born in Faridabad my father an honest to the core respected man. We had land near Palwal. I gren lament the loss of honesty in life. My uncle probably served in kelvinator around the same time Mr Lavasa was there. Thank you for taking this book for review. Dear Saurabh Ji, Intently, and very patiently viewed the conversation regarding the book Sri Lavasa penned. Curiosity, I admit, was to know what Mr Lavasa has to say, about his decision to leave the job of EC, prematurely, as my assumption was that the book is an autobiography of Sri Ashok Lavasa, himself. As so many of his clan are in the habit of doing. However, what came out was a pleasant surprise, and the reward was an insight about a man, so unlike the stereotype of a beurocrat. The revelation that the book was indeed an autobiography but about his father, and so beautifully narrated by Sri Lavasa, in his interview that I, not exactly fond of autobiographies, am now keen to read the book. Thanks for this addition of "Kitabwala". And expect to have many more such interviews in future from you.

सैरभ जी आपका ये संभाग मैं आजकल देख रही हूँ ये episode देख कर एक चीज़ याद आ रही है मुझे । मैं 1997 main London मैं थी और रास्ते से गुज़रते हुए मैंने एक building देखी जिसपर लिखा था 'Family History Literary ' मुझे ये concept बड़ा पसंद आया था शायद हर कोई अगर अपनी family की history लिखे तो बड़े interesting events पढ़ने को मिलेंगे । धन्यवाद आपका इस तरह की पुस्तकों से परिचय कराने के लिए ।

बहुत ही शानदार प्रेरणा दायक प्रसंगों से भरी पुस्तक है। सौरभ जी आपको व अशोक लवासा जी को बधाई। लवासा जी हमारए शहर फरीदाबाद के ही ही निवासी हैं। पत्रकार होते हुए भी इस तरफ कभी ध्यान ही नहीं गया ।हालांकि उनके भारत के चुनाव आयुक्त रहते हुए जो ईमानदारी का देशहित और लोकतंत्र के हित मे जो फैसला लिया वो काबिले तारीफ था लेकिन जिद्दी ताना शाह ने जो ईमानदारी के लिए सजा दी वो इतिहास मे दर्ज हो चुकी है।

Biggest pro for lallantop is word of mouth, i have myself recommended this channel to many of my colleagues just because of their content. You guys are doing amazing work.
