I don't think the Congress-CPIM alliance will do much, as their traditional vote banks are completely disparate. Plus voters generally do not reward last-moment alliances. I am really surprised to see TMC completely give up before the first ball is bowled. They were emerging as main opposition during the 2021 Municipal elections. I really thought they would fight for the runner-up spot. BJP to win comfortably. Manik Saha has certainly steadied the ship.
