Electric Bus (Thomas) 

So we have had some problems with the buses. The software to run the charging system is not working with the charging stations. Someone came by and charged their VW ID.4 and the station worked fine. There are still some bugs that needs to be fixed. Personally I think it is a rushed product that has not been fully tested. If you are looking to get an electric bus go with the Blue Bird or Lion bus. Those ones have been out longer. I feel like we are the ginuea pigs. Also the A/c compressor housing vibrates a lot and makes a loud noise on all of these. As of right now they are just fancy yard ornaments that we can't use. Hopefully they will get the software right.

I have not tried it yet. It might be the same as blue bird since the parking brake system is all electronic.

@@crpony Any system that requires that the parking brake be released first will throw me off. I'm used to taking it off last (which is impossible in this case) and putting it on first (at least that's still possible).

I think we have two that are currently being used. So far just some software issues with the bus and charging stations. The drivers like them because it's quieter. Real world range is about 80 miles.

So far they have not been used on a route yet. Maybe in August when next school year starts they will use them. All of them have had updates and a wire harness added so it can charge when the ignition is off.

I am not sure yet. The electric ones have not been used yet. They are finishing installing the charging stations this week. We will see how they hold up to everyday use.
