Electric CR80R test ride. 

Hard to say as I'm not a racer. I would estimate about 20min with these guys. The permanent battery will last 7 hrs trail riding so about 2hrs racing.

I think that should be fine. I don't know that motor.

It's a QS 138 motor paired to a sabvoton 72200 unlocked controller. The battery is just a temp one.

Hi Devin, Did you have any problems when running your temp battery at 60v? I am running a 60v 20ah battery with the same motor and votol em-150 controller and I burnt the controller.

Yeah this motor is rated for 3kw and yet I am pushing 14Kw in the video and it barely got warm. What controller are you going to use?

@@DevinLindstrom It is just a chinese controller that came with the kit. Kit came with motor, controller, keylock, throttle, sprockets and chain and it costed only 212€ from Aliexpress. It may not be the best but hoping to get it moving. I'm also gonna buy spot welder and guality 18650 cells to make own battery for it.

I didn't because I got a bigger chain to handle the power increase. I'm using a 420 chain I believe.

Was trying to figure what sprocket size to go with and was wondering what worked for you.

@@tedurlton8403 find the rpm of the motor you are using and find the gear ratio. Do the math on how many feet you will travel per rotation of the motor an work the max speed from there. You can do it. ;)

Right now about 50 mph but it will be able to hit about 65 when I'm done.

Because it's more powerful this way. Once I'm done it will have 40 hp and a 100mile range.
