Demo del modulo Electric Druid VCDO, también conocido como Waverider, que arme para mi sintetizador modular (totalmente DIY). Demo of the Electric Druid VCDO aka Waverider, a new module I built for my DIY modular synth.
I made them myself. They are aluminium sheets I drilled with a drill press, then I sticked printed autoadhesive vinyl that I sent to print in a local print shop.
Actually I don't buy the vinyl. I go to the print shop with the front panel art, and they print it over the vinyl they have. I see the material, and are big rolls 1 meter wide, so I don't think it would be usefull to you unless you have an industrial printer... I don't know if it comes in sheets or something smaller...
Isak Eliyahu Hi, no, I didn't bought the kit. I did my own PCB and burned my own PIC microcontroller. The firmware is slightly different from the one in the Electric Druid site (and from Frequency Central), it's done by a guy that posted it in Muffwigler forum. This firmware adds Subosc detune, and sync, but the rest is the same as in the original.
The IC introduces a minimal noise, specially in the lower range when the quantization noise is more notable. But is minimal. I think most of the noise you hear is because of RU-vid compresion (try it in HD for better sound).
