I mean, being awake at 3.30am didn't help me be receptive to the song, but on repeat it's a banger with a calm edge. Hope the uniqueness and message appeals to the public for one of the most bonkers semi-finals. Been seeing so many European ESC commentators loving the didgeridoo so hope it gets the support it needs to make the final! How good would that be??

we didn't, they got rid of the democratic selection process last year, and went with a committee. Australia no longer chooses, a committee at the SBS does.

On first listen, I loved this. Now had it on repeat the last couple of days and I love it even more. Great to see Electric Fields selected finally! As an Australian, I generally haven’t loved the entries we’ve sent (Zero Gravity is the only exception). But this is beautiful. I do hope they have a didgeridoo player for the live performance, that would be magical… But I’m also of Croatian background, and super excited about Baby Lasagna! So kind of happy my two favourite songs this year finally are from my home country and the country of my ancestors ❤🇦🇺🇭🇷🦘

This is my absolute favorite of the 37 entries this year and I find it baffling that it's not considered a favorite. Absolutely superb vocals, an incredible positive message, a bop of extraordinary catchiness that is also highly melodic, and an incredible tribute to both African-American queer house music of the 1980s and 1990s as well as the Indigenous culture of the Yankunytjatjara. One of the best Eurovision songs in years that captures and encapsulates the incredible spirit of this contest.

This song speaks to our place in the universe, how we cannot "own" land, and that borders are invented. It's about realizing our place in the natural world and that we are to be stewards of the land living in harmony with each other and nature. It's a timeless message but more timely now than ever. I honestly wish I liked this as much as '2000 and Whatever', but it still is so Electric Fields that I got to love it. The lyrics are transcendental, the instrumental keeps a modern vibe while paying a beautiful homage to the Aboriginal sounds. I sadly see this struggling to qualify, but I'd never count Australia's out - they have an amazing ability to stage things great. Best of lucks to Electric Fields and to Australia!

The video doesn't do justice to this beautiful song. At first I didn't like it, but it definitely grew on me. I expect the staging to be ethereal, magical. Electric Fields are such great performers and artists and I can't wait to see this live 🩷

Instead of starting arguing whether this will qualify or not, can you just enjoy the song? Eurovision fans sometimes are really annoying. I really like the song and I wish the artists good luck 🤞

Only "Sometimes"? I love Eurovision but the Fandom are horrible. This song is fantastic, really look forward to seeing it live and will continue listening and explore this artist further. The scores are absolutely meaningless really.

I think the music video/visual is slightly off putting but if you ignore this and pump this song through some headphones - it’s amazing. Transports me to another place and the message is wonderful. Australia should be very proud of this entry! It deserves a place in the grand final ❤️🇦🇺

This one is starting to grow on me. Can't wait to see what they bring to the ESC stage. I wouldn't be surprised if they end up in my top 3 after seeing it live, just like Voyager did last year!

I hope they will have awesome staging so they can make it in the Grand Final cause they are awesome live (I saw some live performances online) and they are definately in my top 5 ! :)
