Electric scale models always suffer from that missing element that IC powered models retain...and that's sound. But not here, the MR RC Sound system gives it that realism it needs.
Fantastic! Pretty sure that was the best RC P51 video I have seen. Great camera work and beautiful scale flying. The sound system really does ad to the whole experience. My buddy fly's the Freewing "Old Crow" HS version with the the Merlin sound system. Love the sound of his but I'm pretty sure this one sounds better. I have a Corsair and a P51 that could benefit from this sound system.
Hi there, that's the best RC sound I've heard on a Utube video...and I'm going to order a Mr RC sound system as a result! Can you tell me where you mounted your TT-25s in your P51? ...and how many? - I presume two... Best regards, MH
Not actually my plane but fairly sure one would have been on top of the wing and the other further back in the fuselage. You need to experiment obviously with position to get the right sound before you glue them in. Good luck though. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Hey Andrew - I was going to ping the link over to you this morning but you got there FIRST. Top man. I'll have to get one of these units myself soon. EVERYONE was hugely impressed with how loud this unit is in the sky. Cheers - Dom (Essential RC)
Andrew - I've added annotations to the video with your web site address. We had a lot asking where Phil got it from. Think you might get a few more orders. Thanks again - Dom (Essential RC)
Essential RC Dom, it is now up on the web page. Not sure how to make it auto play, I will look into it. I also just put up a sale for customers that want to save some money. :)
MrRCflying I sent you a message through RU-vid with the whole embed code including the autoplay attribute. Ping me an email to dominic.mitchell@btinternet.com and I can send it you again if you like.
2 strokes sound like chainsaws., I personally get nothing from the sound of a 2 stroke stuffed in the front of a plane. How realistic is the sound of a chainsaw in an airplane? I guess we can disagree on this one.
