I live in a neighborhood where pretty much everybody has a golf cart. I own a 2018 ezgo gas. Gas carts are not allowed on the golf course so I can count the number of gas carts on one hand. When my friend moved into the neighborhood I advised him to get a gas cart and a tow strap. The golfers sure don't mind the noise when I pull them home.
Indeed, I said that same comment you made on the video when I was there today. I even mentioned your video and sent it to 3 people at Cartmart, San Diego
I am in the market for a golf cart. Love the stereo you have in that one. I am really sold on the Envy by Spartan. Love their seating. Great to know about the batteries going for longer time. Great video. Thank You for sharing that information.
I’ve got on order a new ICON white on order due any day. 6 seater with black and grey seating. I also adding additional batteries. Your video helped in my decision. Carlsbad Ca
So happy for you! Please make sure you charge your batteries after each use because after adding additional batteries ( like a said in video) screen doesn’t show right percent of battery and if battery is low- it doesn’t warn you(you don’t want to get stuck somewhere).
Agree! Old one was the coolest. But it’s was so bumpy because of the crazy wheels)). They need to make electric ones but which super powerful batteries
I don't see why this video could get 19 dislikes. I guess anyone would find any reason to hate such wholesome content. This is good tips, great content!!
My ICON Cart will probably be delivered late next week. 6 seater Champagne color with AGM Battery upgrade, but works perfectly with the ICON Cart. I’d love to send you to photos while it’s still at the dealer but I’m not sure how to do. It’s a terrific color
Regarding the speakers... is that strictly after market installed by the dealer? Or did Icon install it. It actually looks like a nice system that was installed properly. If your dealer installed it... where could I reach out to them? I’d like to do something similar.
hello, did your ezgo gas cart give off toxic fumes? i drove an old gas cart and got sick from the exhaist fumes, and so i was wondering if newer gas carts are the same way?
if you know how to take the governer off the Icon golf cart, can you do a tutorial please? I have one, and there are no tutorials online for it. Thank You!
The upgraded AGM batteries will get a software update from ICON to sync to the front display so that the batteries show proper % battery available. If all goes well, hopefully Friday delivery
Thank you so much for responding so quickly! I sure do appreciate it. Thank you for the information. Do you think you could also tell me the dimensions of the tires if you get a minute? Thanks again!
I prefer getting new golf carts, specially if it’s electric, because a lot of them have old batteries and you will have to buy new ones. If we talking about gas golf cart -you can get it used
Correct. This is a mess. We couldn’t push the golf cart out of the street till we charge batteries. Luckily street wasn’t crazy busy and we was able to charge it out on the street , we had to get a lot of long cords and plug it somewhere ( we use house near the street we was stuck at). If you try to charge it from the car it’s only works for couple seconds and than golf cart die again. If you keep original batteries then screen at the front will show you that it’s going low and you just go home but with upgraded battery for some reason screen not working and you basically have to guess how much battery you have...I don’t like that. After all of that we never forget to charge it again)))
I've been in the market for a new golf cart for awhile now. I'm looking at Icon and Evolution. They are similar in price but the Evolution is Lithium and just seems better built. I want to test drive both. Did you look at Evolution?
Never tried Evolution yet but I probably will recommend go with it because I been having Icon for a while now and I don’t think I will buy it again, it’s good but not great
@@du3lcitiz3n only think I don’t like is that after they installed upgraded batteries we can’t see anywhere how many miles we got left , I hope by now they fixed the screen. Also when batteries die , breaks automatically locked and we can’t move gold cart at all from the street, it’s a big mess. Ask them about that to make sure you can unlock your breaks
I made the decision to add more power, I’m getting a Navitas 600 Amp controller and upgraded battery. The beach where area I live has numerous hills and my speed and battery drain dramatically as I’m headed home. I’m hoping this will allow additional run time. I also purchased the Wet Sound 10 speaker sound bar. The cart was picked up Friday. We shall see.
Here is place www.giantrecreationworld.com/inventory/?keyword=golf+cart BUT make sure that you have full warranty because we did have some issues with this Icon electric golf cart recently. We upgraded our battery and it’s already stuck on the street 2 times because sometimes wrong with this new batteries . Front seat row was wobbly and we almost fall off while driving 😅. This place took care of everything but still it shouldn’t happened to a new cart.
It’s depends on the rules in your state. I see kids driving it daily but I wouldn’t let my kid drive it on a main road, only in neighborhood and with adult being next to him .
PCan I please have your old golf cart. I'm disabled and can't move around or go out out. I live in a country where there's no help for disabled people. I can't even go out to church because I have no means of transportation . I'm disabled from polio from the waist down. My knees and hips are deformed. I'm from West Africa. A golf cart would be a great miracle in my life especially a gas one..
