HOW HAVE YOU STAYED OUT FROM UNDER MY RADAR FOR THIS LONG?! All of your woodworking stuff is SO PERFECT! You’ve made such amazing jigs, and innovative and useful tools, using hardware and wood, and tools!! I can see by your surroundings that you are constantly improving on and innovating with wood. You’re work is spot on and quite detail oriented, and yet the methods you use are within the grasp of practically anyone who can use a measuring tool and a drill. As soon as I landed on your video, I was automatically a big fan of yours. I’m watching your videos forevermore, so I too might be someday as capable as you are! THANKS FOR SHARING!!
I have a workshop and slowly improving my skill, but this build, like all others you put out, I’m in awe of. I’ll never build this, but your videos are so inspiring with precision and craftsmanship, I pick up something new every time I watch them.
I purchased a nice Makita hand held planer for a project long ago, and it has sat in its case unused for years. I now need a jointer and thin surface planer for salvaged hardwood. This will be my next build, Thanks!
Sir, I am an Arab Muslim and I live in Jordan, and I follow your videos with great passion. You are a creator who deserves respect and appreciation, and every project you present will increase my respect and appreciation for you. All the best and appreciation to you.
The best I've seen in making jigs and adaptations on the hand planer. Hope I can follow your models. Terrific job!!! Many many thanks for putting it up.
I am in awe of your creativeness and talent and feel rather depressed that I'm sitting here thinking, I could never come close to your level of ingenuity, especially bringing your highly technical ideas to "life."
If your subscriber count were reminiscent of your skill level & design quality it would be in the millions like you deserve. Not only is your woodworking talent unsurpassed by any on this platform but the content quality is sincerely top notch as well. The format of your videos, coupled w/ image & audio clarity, production value and great editing are what truly set your channel apart.
Saludos.
When I grow up I want to have your skillset. I continue to learn more and more from your brilliant work. And for the record I am 56 and still learning. 😃
It's like the wordless workshop that used to be in the back of a magazine I used to subscribe to a few decades ago. But with movement! EXCELLENT WORK! Modular construction!
It is so satisfying to see these videos. I always want to make it too, but simply lack the time and use for it. Thank you for sharing your beautiful work
I was just watching his 2nd ver and thought that jig wasnt sturdy enough and thinking maybe a jug that encase the planer clamping it from both side would be better. And this is actually his ver 1. I think this is a lot better. I've also been watching many videos turning electric planer into a jointer or a circular saw into a table saw. But I never like the idea of putting a tool upside down when it's meant to be used up right, not to mention it just seems dangerous. And these his jig was exactly what I was thinking. That table saw he has is awesome. This planer jig is great but I feel the 2 arm mechanism is a bot unnecessary since the planer is suppose to be stationary and only the height adjusted. I think that casing combined with his ver2 steel rod would be just nice.
Magnífico trabajo , ingeniería de la madera al más alto nivel , impresionante , gracias por compartir tanta creatividad y conocimientos , un saludo cordial y por supuesto un gran like desde Narón , Galicia ( España) 🤓 😜
Is there nothing you can't make out of wood? What a genius you are kind Sir. Thank you for sharing it with us. 木で作れないものはありませんか?あなたはなんて天才なのでしょう。共有していただきありがとうございます。 Ki de tsukurenai mono wa arimasen ka? Anata wa nante tensaina nodeshou. Kyōyū shite itadaki arigatōgozaimasu.
After watching this I'm convinced that the 33 ppl who [at the time], gave a "thumbs down" did so before they even watched the video. Apparently envy and jealousy show up in lots of different forms these days. *Thumbs up JSK-koubou; well done and God bless.* edit: *1]:* I'd love to see what you could do if you became proficient in metal work/fabrication i.e. welding, lathe, CNC plasma cutter etc. *2]:* Rig systems pt.4/5/6 will be very useful; I'm looking forward to seeing you use them [and the others], in future videos.
It's great that you make tools this way. I want to do it too but is it safe? This method is more affordable. It seems to be working fine. Does this project have a plan? Please help me.
this is an awesome creation, I need to make this myself for my church projects because I could not afford to buy jointer and thickness planer however I need to ask favor from you Can I have a plan for this? thank you for sharing your abilities, I really like watching your videos!
Theses are fantastic. Is there any way to rig a hand planer to flatten large slabs? I used a router recently and the wasn't pleased at all with the routcome plus there is a huge amount of sanding to get rid of the ridges
Hello, don't be tired, sir, you use multi-layered wood for all the devices you make, unfortunately, I don't have access to this kind of wood, can I use mdf board for construction? Please answer me as soon as possible.
As much as I recognise and enjoy this man’s extreme talent for engineering and woodworking, the cost of the plywood alone prohibits most of us mere mortals from emulating his work. As I say the cost of the plywood in theses examples wood be enough to by a jointer or planer and still be left with change. Amazing entertainment nonetheless.
Can you make portable table saw ideas or just small bench or anything like that? I wanna get some idea since I don’t have a workshop and storage places don’t allow building inside or use of power tools so I’m planning on building a small work space in my backyard with the space of 4” 6” ..
Do you have multiple build so you don't have to swap out the planer? I love your work but I wonder about how quickly you can go from set up to set up unless you have multiple planers.
I'm having a hard time deciding what corded planer to get... I got the 20v Dewalt xr planer, but it eats batteries too fast (and not good for mounting in a jig.)
Es impresionante. Eso requiere de mucha paciencia y arte. Estoy urgido de regruesar madera y no tengo cepilladora. Espero hacer alguno de estos diseños. Felicidades
