Yes, Galaxy Instruments did here what they have done with their other keyboard projects, that is capturing the heart and playability of the instrument. I was so absorbed in the raw sounds themselves that I had little time to dive into the more complex sounds, but that may be another video just for that as the amount of effects they give you is really amazing. Great presentation and amazing playing! I still use Cakewalk too and so far and couldn't find anything better for customization and stability. Love your video on Ujam Vibe as well.

Hi Simeon, Appreciate your video and focus on playing rather than features, basic sounds rather than heavy FX. My favorite EP is the Yamaha Reface CP because of its sound and playability, the responsiveness to key pressure. Prefer over all the VSTs I have tried so far including Keyscape. How is the dynamic responsiveness and playability of Electric Keys? Thanks!

My pleasure. I think the responsiveness is great. It seems they were able to capture a lot of dynamic layers which make it playable in softer and more aggressive dimensions. The effects are just icing on the cake. Thanks for watching.

What's up with those distorted resonances in almost all of the presets ? Are those baked into the samples or an effect that can (hopefully) be dialed back ?

I will have to go back and double check. Is there a particular section you were hearing this more than other times? I know Phoenix does have a little extra edge about it. There is an extensive effects chain with these so there might be a little saturation or similar effect being employed. Thanks for watching

I would enjoy finding that out myself as Scarbee is known for doing some amazing things with their instruments. For me it would have to be really something as Galaxy has produced something very dynamic with these two electric pianos.

You will find that Kontakt instruments do not have demos, that is why I try to showcase as many as I can here to help give you a general idea of the sound and features. You will find some developers will offer what might be called a “try” pack featuring a small subset of sounds. Others like Fracture Sounds have been introducing Free titles (Blueprint) that are derived in many respects from their recent larger instruments. Thanks for watching.
