Ram will differentiate itself by offering a portfolio of fully electrified solutions to better meet customer needs, including a segment-redefining Ram 1500 BEV in 2024. The entire Ram lineup will offer electrified solutions with disruptive, leading-edge advanced technology in the years to come. The Ram 1500 Revolution BEV Concept establishes how Ram will push past competitors’ future EV offerings.
The Ram 1500 Revolution BEV Concept features all-wheel-drive capability and is powered by two electric drive module (EDMs), which are positioned toward the front and rear of the vehicle, maximizing interior space and enabling the cavernous frunk. Designed to accommodate larger capacity EDMs, the Ram 1500 BEV Concept offers the potential for future high-performance applications.
The Ram 1500 Revolution BEV Concept can add up to 100 miles of range in approximately 10 minutes with 800-volt DC fast charging at up to 350 kW.

I would love this truck, im just skeptical about electrical and engineering problems because its so new. And dodge hasnt been the most reliable brand. Ill wait for a couple generations to see how much maintenence costs and recalls get sorted

@@ridgelineenjoyer1517 yep. How much towing are you doing? I am happy to rent the big truck at home Depot for $19 for 2 hours. I had a chev avalanche. You don't open the back unless it's an emergency. The dust and debris get everywhere. It's a nice option but not that functional. The truck will be fast.

Ram 1500 BEV is a compromise in everything. It wants to be a Cybertruck...but not take any of the real design/body styling (It's still a body-on-frame). In a nutshell, this is a mixed bag of a truck. Throw on some 'chamfer'd' curves and 'Tron' lighting and presto: a 'new' truck. Puh-leeze. The 'shadow' mode is a disaster waiting to happen. Can only seat four, or six with really uncomfortable 'fold out' seats. Cybertruck seats five by default (back seat is a bench). Like the Chevy Volt, this design won't survive the committees

I was afraid this might happen. For the longest time Ram has been one of the few automotive companies who refused to make an ev. If they are doing this, it’s probably by force from the government. I will keep my Classic edition 5.7 running as long as it can. I love Ram. The only company who has defied ignorance, and just did what was right to make peoples lives good.

Can't you just see backing your boat in the lake and the battery or rear drive motor shorting out. EVs are a waste of money. If you run out of gas ,you can go get 5gal. And bring back, If you run out of Battery you can't just go get another one.

@Enrique A Thiele Solivan Aerodynamic principles are the same whether it is ice of ev. There are not any special exterior design considerations regarding one power source or another unless you can provide one. My question was why fo they look different from conventional vehicles.

Ram can't even make a gas or diesel truck anymore that makes 150,000 miles without multiple major repairs. My 2018 has already cost me nearly $10,000 in repairs. No way I am trusting something new this early on.

@@RAM-KINGOFTRUCKS I will stick with my 32 year old Chevy myself, but if I had to choose any of the 3 EV trucks, I'd choose the crappy Ford because it still has the design of a truck and the bed is still separate from the friggin bed like it's supposed to be. I'm not a Ford guy but they are going to push me to be, no matter how bad it's ratings are.
