Best song ever. And I’m 20 and I love old school music. I was at the senior center yesterday to help out with a party and I came in as the East Bunny and the seniors was dancing to this. I did this dance before but kinda forgot how to do it.

Throughout our struggles as black people we still remains the best the world has to offer.....we can make any kind of music that ever race can enjoying 🎶
This song called electric slide reminds me of the good times at my high school senior years i had so much fun with my teachers and guidance counselors and principals and especially my own high school friends it was the best senior year ever !! ☺
I did a lot of table waiting for about two years as a temp recently in Ohio and Pennsylvania, mostly in a catering/wedding context. Very hard work done to (many hours of) DJs playing dance music for the wedding party and guests. This was one of the only songs that I and others danced to, breaking our serving routines. Good times.
In AFJROTC for our military ball we have to learn this..... we do a competition with the other squadrons to see who's better. Ive been dancing to this every night....god help me.
This brings me back to elementary when my gym teacher was obsessed with line dancing so we did it for a full year in gym & this song was one of em we played~~
Great Song, a lot of people don't know that this is a Reggae song. Sang by Marcia Griffiths a very known Jamaican singer also known to have sang in the group, " The I Threes " with Bob Marley and the Wailers.
i remember when i was a kid, this was considered good music... nowadays, good music is evidently screaming randomly into a microphone... lets go back to the good old days...
The fact that people unironically think that this song is about a vibrator just goes to show you the power of misinformation and how people can't be bothered to do the slightest bit of research to learn that it isn't.
To everyone, you are special Always know you are cutiful and special! Reach for your goals! be positive and do what makes you happy! You are beautiful just the way you look! I am glad you exist! Stay positive!
Love this song/dance so much. It brings back so many happy wonderful fun times dancing to this song at the Rocking Horse bar in Minot, ND. I pray that I could go back to those times again.
This song spooked me as a kid. There was this slide at a holloween carnival. The electric slide was playing somewhere in the background. A lady dressed as a witch tried to get me to go on the slide, and I was like no, it's electric. So I always thought the lady singing the song was the witch lady from carival.
