This video should have way more thumbs up. It's very well done. It's just that not many people want power lift gates specifically for a Tuscon and very few of those people are DIY'ers. This vid was really good filming for instruction.
I believe it will work in 2018 year model Tucson, there also is a better liftgate system produced with a suction in lock (it looks for me more safely). You can find in comments mentioned installation to 2019 year model Tucson - should be additional cable for a button in tail gate, ask a seller about it. ( for example: www.aliexpress.com/item/32847743503.html )
Hello, this is a good Video. I install it today too, but i have a Question for you. Where must be connect the one Cable for the Remote? I n the Installationguide is no Tip. Thanks for your helpdesk, and nice Job. Greatings from Germany.👍
I know this is an old post, I'm just trying to figure out where the power goes to the passenger side. Just the strut. I've pulled out the 3 clips on the roof, and found the cable, but from what I can see, it goes down the side of the vehicle. I am having to just replace one power strut, not install an entire lift gate. Any insight would be so helpful.
foot sensor not working for nothing and electric tailgate just work for closing not working closing with car key and not working also with button give me with kit
DIY....? I just figured out how use the remote for the VCR Machine last week. If I ever attempted this on my wife's new car I would be getting served papers from her attorney. You gotta be kiddin me here. Now honestly how long did this take you? Seriously from start to finish. ...and do you make house calls?
He usado aliexpress, por ejemplo aliexpress.com/wholesale?catId=0&initiative_id=SB_20200510221430&origin=y&SearchText=auto%2Belectric%2Btail%2Bgate%2Blift, tenga en cuenta el impuesto personalizado
@@RR-cg2rq Ohh sorry , I've missed key fob, it's true i have on key fob with 3 buttons on them with tail gate. In that case you can use button installed inside and the button on tail gate door itself. Or just change key fob in your dealer center.
Hello friend, my question is why you connect the yellow current cable to the white in the first connector and not in the second connector, which are all red from currents to 13.78
Hello friend, thanks for answering my question, it was because there is another video with the same mechanism that you have installed but you connect it to the fuse with red cables that are direct cables from the battery, that was the question and today you do not have any problem with the installation
@@baessipo8195 Hi dear. As I remember, in the manual also was chosen the red wire, which has big unusual fuse on it - about 80A, were will be hardly to find replace of it in any case. Therefor I use the wire with PEC fuse a bit less Amps but enough for my needs and easy to find replace. The second reason was that the red wire is laying under others wires and I couldn't rich to it without disassembling the connector itself.
It's the part with the cable attached you mounted to the trunk floor and it operates the catch you changed to a uprite post. I can't seem to find it. My kit comes without one. I have to manually open the trunk from the outside before power lift gate works. If you know the name of this part I might be able to look it up. Anything you can do will be appreciated. Thanks Robert
I have a little problem. Can you adjust the damper tension in this set? the hatch closes but does not pull it all the way down and remains open. did you do it somehow?
I know Im randomly asking but does someone know a tool to get back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot my account password. I would appreciate any help you can give me.
@Stephen Yehuda I really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and im trying it out atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I LISTENED FOR 6:00 MIN NEVER HEARD A WORD AND WITH TWO PEOPLE YOU WOULD THINK THERE WOULD BE SOME LOOSE CHANGE OR SOMEONE WOULD CUS/DAM THE CAT GOT YOUR TUNG??? I QUIT I CAN LEARN AS MUCH ON MY OWN!
@@salvatorel.5461 Oh dear, I'm really not sure where he is lives, even is he installed the tailgate lift at all. ) By the way, producers released a new version, where suction system resides in the lock, I found it more reliable, anyway it's your choice .
****BEWARE****: If you're going to install power liftgates to your vehicle, PLEASE make sure it's not from "autoeez" ("eez" is deliberately misspelled due to utoob censorship), or any other CHIN3S3-A-KRAP manufacturers. Just went through nightmare with DANGEROUS malfunctioning "autoeez" liftgate system installed by dealer before I bought vehicle. Short story: dealer had system removed and replaced by manual OEM equipment.
Thank you! Sometimes china productions quality leaves a lot to be desired and I'm not sure how long the working condition will last, But electric tailgate system in a clip is exactly from CHIN3S3-A-KRAP manufacturers and it still working more than 2 years. Please don't consider this as Ad, it's just my personal experience. In your particular case, the reason may be incorrect installation or others reasons. I'm glad to buy OEM system from my dealer, but my dealer don't offer retrofit liftgate systems, besides OEM system will costs me at least 3 times more.
