This game is actually really accurate but being a real firefighter I see just a couple flaws. You don’t see anything even with your light on in a real structure fire unless the fire is out and smoke is cleared. Second, I get that it’s a game but you would never enter a structure alone. And third, you only breech a door if you need immediate access to find a subject which in turn you would only want to crack the door to drag a hose through. Otherwise the game seems fairly accurate
Guess who just passed the fire academy! oh no it wasn't me it was my brother, anyway, this game is similar to flashing lights in terms of putting out fires, but otherwise, it's more or so like emergnyc except without sitting in the station smoking a cigarette, which i mean, was my favorite part, but otherwise, the game seems interesting, I might just spend 30 bucks to get it, it seems worth it.
Then why don't you go right ahead and feel free to create something better and more realistic? Don't gripe about a problem and act like an expert when you yourself don't even have anything to offer towards a solution. Maybe try being appreciative that at least people tried and created a decent platform that is more stable than EmergeNYC..... Lastly, as a Firefighter of 11 years, I can say that it is somewhat close in what it tries to incorporate into the game... You see other AI firefighters performing assigned tasks and you are assigned roles just as you are in the real world. The fire can spread and push just like it does in real life, the water physics are pretty decent as well..... Of course there isn't going to be a game capable of directly copying real world firefighting, because every situation greatly varies in the real world, but this game is definitely a great start...
