Watch Electricity, once famously performed by Tom Holland alongside many other talented child actors in the stage version of Billy Elliot. In this version Elliott Hanna plays the role of Billy.
Billy Elliot the Musical Live is a 2014 British filmed version of Elton John's coming-of-age stage musical Billy Elliot the Musical (2005), which in turn was based on the 2000 film Billy Elliot. Stephen Daldry directed both the original film and the 2014 musical adaptation. The filmed production stars Elliott Hanna as Billy, Ruthie Henshall as Mrs. Wilkinson, and Deka Walmsley, Ann Emery, and Chris Grahamson as Billy's father, grandmother, and older brother, respectively. Tom Holland (SpiderMan) famously played Billy Elliot in the stage version of the musical.

That musical on DVD was the result of a filming in London. Here in Hamburg/Germany some cinemas have "broadcasted" that event at the same time....:)

Singing, after all the dancing is extremely hard. A person has to breath harder, but this young child did an excellent job.

He has a nice voice, too. Rare in a dancer. I was fortunate to see the incomparable Lex Ishimoto in the role of Billy in 2010. He went from the streets of L.A. to superstardom overnight for his own choreography to "Electricity," which the composers rewrote to an extended hip-hop feature that never missed a show-stopping standing ovation.

Hold on is Billy Elliot doing Ballet? 🤔 Where's the tap dancing? In the original movie with Jamie Bell it must've been 90% tap and 10% ballet. My dance tutor said "You can't learn nowt from that movie" Nice to see the audition scene showcase actual ballet.

Kid's good. But, wow! - This music is sub, this choreography is sub. Oh, yeah, and speaking of music, the 80s called, it wants its saxophone parts back. I'm aware the play is set in the 80s, but there are some things best left there: parachute pants, mullets, and overtly syncopated sax parts are three of them.
