When a positively charged glass rod is brought into contact with a positively charged gold leaf electroscope, the gold leaves will initially diverge further apart. However, shortly after, they will collapse back to their original position or possibly even collapse further.
@@darkraiyt001 Yes, we have it in our book called "Physics All the Way." Even my friends from different schools have the Selina Concise book, and they don't have the "Magnetism" chapter. It's overwhelming for me, especially understanding the concepts of electromagnetism, solenoids, currents, and more 🥲... Are you also from the ICSE board? When are your finals starting?
@@darkraiyt001 But y'know, as I think about it, our class hasn't started electromagnetism yet, we're just covering the basic properties of magnets. Maybe they can skip that portion, as most of the electromagnetism lectures on RU-vid seem geared towards class 10. Although I'm not sure..sorry for blabbering so much, haha
