My family is from Uttarakhand India.. UK sells electricity to UP, Delhi, Hayana, MP, Rajasthan. The electric supply is 24x7 in our state and cost is half compared to other states. In fact lot Of households use electricity instead of LPG gas for cooking food, as it's cheaper and easier.

Dear Sir, Electricity Charges in J&K India… First 100 units cost Rs.300.00 only. Rs: 3.00 per unit. Above this consumption the price is Rs: 4.50 per unit. (more than 100 units) Cost of one LPG Gas cylinder of 14.50 KG is 1050.00 per cylinder. Dalda is Rs.250 per KG. Milk is 45-65 per KG/Lt. Petrol/Diesel is Rs: 95-110 per Lt.

In LPG Gas cylinder...you get back in your account 200 rupees... Means, 1050 - 200 = 850 Therefore, LPG cylinder price of 14kg = 850 rupees

I have solar panels on my rooftop, we use 5 AC at my home in our 6 bedrooms and a living room. We use water pump too for our overhead water tank. Our electricity bill comes hardly 1500/- average par month. We are getting 24 hours power supply in ahmedabad. I paid ₹260000 for the installation. Government refunded me 40000 as subsidy

Hamare state mein gas cylinder ka rate 1300 hai aur electricity ka rate 100 unit tak 3.80 aur 200 unit tak 4.80 hai. Yahan pehle garmiyon mein 2-4 ghate load shedding hoti thi, lekin abhi 8 saal se koi load shedding nahi hoti, 24 hrs bijli milti hai.

In India Central Electricty Regulatory commission directed are state board to fixed electricity tariffs for next three years in advance. Secondly average residential tariff is Rs 8 to 15. Gas cylinder cost is Rs. 1150.
