29:45 You have a fire rate of 10,64 and a clip size of 8, so you're firing for 0,75 seconds then reloading for 1,56 seconds. That's 3,46 shots per second on average. Picking clip size would change that to 1,5 seconds firing and 1,79 seconds reloading or 4,86 shots per second on average, so a huge 40% increase in DPS. Gas rerouting changes those numbers to 0,59 seconds firing and 1,34 seconds reloading or 4,15 shots per second on average, so only a 20% increase in DPS. The bad ratio between firing and reloading time on the smart rifle is exactly the reason why you should *always* pick bigger mags. Also, firing rate and reload time are additive with the normal weapon level upgrades, so you get diminishing returns. Clip size is unique to the overclock and therefore effectively works like a separate 100% reload speed multiplier.
yup my thoughts too. He SAYS it gets insane fire rate and then doesnt increase the mag size. then he also keeps picking reload after it was down to less than a second. making the reload almost redundant, but wont take piercing because he "has enough". Its actually frustrating for me now after watching him so much
Next time. Pick bigger mag. Overall, it greatly increases your dps over time compared to the other one. As someone else in the comments already have shown. You seem to consistently pick DPS/reload. Don't. Mag size is better.
I just did the electric drone mastery now and so far it's been the hardest mastery to do of all them, it just did 0 dmg and I only got it cus i got the extra weapon artefact
