Tom demonstrated the loop pedal comprehensively, but also concisely - no waffle to lose interest in. Liked the camera zoom on the pedal so the functions could be seen in action. Better than Andertons, who tend to lark about and never really show how things work. Sure, they demonstrate the sounds, but as a relatively new-comer to guitar, it's great to see how things work too! Great job.
Very cool video. I just bought this pedal today. Haven't even tried it yet. Your video is the first and probably only video I'll watch on the subject. Very informative thank you.
I bought a second hand one off ebay 4 years ago without the instructions. I couldn't work out how to save what I did, or start a new thing from scratch.. End up with one track like that doo dah band track the intro and the outro... A cacophony! I'm glad I have seen this little tutorial I'll be trying again... I must get the correct power supply, they get so mixed up with mini amps and pedal... I don't want to damage it. Thanks very much for this.. I'll keep playing it back til in sinks in my thick skull
Fantastic demo, I used to own a fair amount of electro harmonix pedals a few years back but the extra features on this loop stations extra features make it a bit more than just a loop station
Really been digging these demos recently. If it is possible, I would love to see some of the main products be played with a few different guitars in each video. I have a PRS and its often difficult to predict how well gear will play with my guitar, so seeing demos with a PRS would make me far more likely to buy some gear through the webstore. :) Keep the videos coming, guys.
Great tutorial but you missed assigning the FX/Stop button to stop. One thing I was looking for was a dedicated stop button, which can be done on this pedal by simply holding the Push button for two seconds.
Very informative. Was thinking of getting a new pedal and this looks like the perfect one! Quite new to using guitar gear like this and with this video I don't think i'll have any problems.
might be a silly question but this pedal all good for bass aswell? don't wanna lose any low frequencies which I know can happen using some guitar pedals for a bass. Cool demo though! Cheers.
I just can't help noticing(no matter how hard i try not to) that this guys guitar can easily double as a marital aid! (in shape and color!). I've tried my hardest to keep this to myself, but it's just to easy! I just couldn't resist!!!)
I dont understand the point of the reverse and the 1/2 speed buttons. Why would you want it to reduce speed to half, especially if the pitch of the loop is dramatically affected?
No effects on it like distortion s n reverbs so u can solo dirty over the loop?..external pedal needed then or the mic just picks up your actual effects?
If you want to solo with a different sound that sound needs to be before the looper, anything after the looper will change the loop sound. For example if the looper is before your amp then put a distortion pedal first to get distortion, if it is in your fx loop than you can maybe use your gain channel dependent on your amp design.
Im just wondering, if you dont put any effects buttons on can you stop the loop on the stop button? im askin this beacuse i need looper that i can stop accurately.. im mean live shows.
Yes - it works as a regular stop button. Not sure why Tom kept using a double tap to stop the loop. The key reason I bought it was for that very reason - a dedicated stop button.
Mine went amiss after about 18 months, now its totally kaput!!!! Waste of good money , does anybody have any idea where one might have it repaired, the guarentee is only a year . Thanks. Im buying a Boss tomorrow. proven endurance pedals.
