The Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man is a classic, warm delay combined with modulation capable of subtle swells, delay cascades, warbles, and full-on sci-fi noises. I like the flexibility of the controls: the intro sound is lush and sweet but the outro is something completely different!
All-in-all, the Deluxe Memory Man is super-musical and doesn't get in the way of your sound - unless you want it to!
Thanks for watching!

I really liked how he played with the pedal. It made it easier for me to get what that equipment can do

Can this be used as a chorus and vibrato separate to the delay?

Thanks for your inquiry Matthew, hope you're safe and well. Short answer to your question is not really. You can create a delay with modulation or modulation without delay. They're not separate effects on this pedal. The Electro-Harmonix Tone Tattoo or Truetone V3 H20 allow for separate access and control of the two effects: www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/ToneTattoo--electro-harmonix-tone-tattoo-analog-multi-effects-pedal www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/V3H20--truetone-h20-chorus-and-echo-dual-effect-pedal Please contact me direct if I didn't answer you completely. You lost me at, "I'm not really sure if there's another power supply..." I really don't wanna' be a jerk, but... come on. You're Sweetwater. Five minutes of research -_-

yobhsiFehT Actually, the exact and full quote is, "i'm not really sure if there's any power supplies out there that would power it properly". Meaning you may find a 24Vdc power supply, but if it's a quality regulated, filtered and proper current capacity power supply is another issue all together. Effects can be sensitive to improper power, especially when your getting in the higher voltages. Plus, what's the big issue, it comes with the necessary PSU. Give the guy a break. I think Don is more a player than super techno head.

Hi yobhsiFehT, thank you for pointing out a slip-up on my part. That statement was intended to be in the context of pedalboard-mounted, multi-pedal, power-supplies, taking into consideration the vast world of custom-built options. With me casually saying, "I'm not sure…" that context wasn't evident. What I am sure of, is using the included 24V/100mA power supply will properly power the pedal, avoid damage to it, and not void the warranty. Sending less than the required voltage would cause the pedal to lose headroom and under-perform, or not perform at all if there are set voltage regulators present. Using less than the proper amperage will cause the power supply to not deliver enough current and eventually blow it up. Thank you, +AudioAtmos for offering some clarity to the issue as well. I'm certainly not a licensed electrician but I have had a lot of experience putting rigs together and effects can be very particular about power. I'm cautious about using absolute terms such as "never"-frankly I'd be surprised if no one made a power supply that would fit this need. With my research however, I wasn't able to find a power supply that Sweetwater sells that does. Hope this addresses this issue fully, sorry if there was any confusion. - Don Carr

SweetwaterSound Thanks for the clarification. Didn't mean to step on your technical prowess. ;-) I guess I was putting in a indirect compliment on your playing. You're one of about 3 or 4 demo guys that I make sure to watch in all of RU-viddom. You have a great mix of technical knowledge, GREAT playing and calm demeanor that makes watching the demos very enjoyable. Keep up the great work.
