No. This was a video that illustrated what they did, but not HOW they did it. Its like showing someone that you can do something, but not teaching them how they do it.

Hi Adrian, Correct, you don't need to remove the trim kit to service the fridge's drainage.

Hello Sarid, After tilting it is allowed to plug in right away. Only when an appliance was laid down on the back or side need to wait 10-12 hours.

Yes it is needed, called a pairing kit. It will void your warranty if you don’t.

Hi, I have seen your comment in several videos about these refrigerators. Could you please elaborate more about the problems you had with yours? I am curious since I just bought a home that has one of these. Thanks.

@@joaquinzannchez3184I bought the fridge and freezer with trim kit in 2015. It lasted about 8 years then we notice the fridge started to freeze everything and then just stopped working. We had a repair shop come take a look and they said they would need to take the fridge to replace a bunch of the internals and recharge the coolant. Upon further inspection the bottom of the fridge they noticed was completely rusted out and all the insolation was wet. You can notice this if you have the older model and remove the bottom drawer there is an access panel you can unscrew and remove. Anyway as it was rusted out to the extent you could put your finger through the inside to the bottom of the wet insolation I decided not to fix the fridge but rather replace it.

@@joaquinzannchez3184the new model is different then the old and requires a new trim kit and matching freezer so both the fridge and freezer got replaced. Luckily the hole the set went into just barely fit. I still have the old freezer in the basement now and it is still going strong with no issues.

@@joaquinzannchez3184also the new ones look to be all plastic for the inner shell and not metal so I hope it lasts longer. Just something to be aware of because they are a nice fridge.
