Electrochemical series is the arrangement of metals in a series in increasing ease of their discharge at the relative electrode. Mam where is the next part of this video??

HW answer: Electrodes taking part in the reaction are called active electrodes.....whereas the electrodes which do not take part in the reaction are called inert eelctrodes....factors affecting discharge of ions are:- position in electrochemical series, concentration of ions, and the nature of electrodes. Loved the session mam...thank you so much for all these efforts that the team of vedantu puts in for us❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

1. At the time of electrolysis, which electrode has no chemical changes, is called inert electrode. Which electrode participates at chemical changes in the time of electrolysis, is called active electrode. 2. Discharge of ions depends -- a. Concentration of ions in the electrolyte b. position on electro chemical series c. Nature of electrodes d. Decomposition potential difference Session was amazing.

H.W.Q. ANSWER IS 1)Electrodes which are not taking part in electrolytic reaction are inert electrodes Electrodes which are taking part in the electrolytic reaction are active electrodes. 2)relative position of ions in electrochemical series, Relative concentration of ions, Nature of electrodes 3) Arrangement of elements in order of their increasing electrode potential values is called as electrochemical series.

Homework answer 1. Inert electrode is an electrode that serves as a source or sink for electrons without playing a chemical role in the electrode reaction. Active electrode is a electrode which takes part in a chemical reaction. 2. Factors affecting discharge of ions 1. Position of the ion in electrochemical series 2. The concentration of ion 3. Nature of electrode 3. Electrochemical series is a series of chemical elements arranged in order of their electron potential. Lovely session mam Please make a video on the dimensions and degrees of organic compounds.

It's a amazing session with a amazing mam. Homework ans: 1.Depending on ease of element to lose or gain electrons to form ions they arranged in a decreasing order 2.Depends majorly on three factors A.Relative position of ions in electrochemical series B. Concentration: Concentration increases discharge of ions at electrode increases C. Nature of electrodes whether they are inert or non inert electrodes 3.Inert electrodes do not take place in chemical reaction whereas Non inert electrode take a part in reaction.
