Sir but when the anode/cathode prefer one type of ion what is the advantage of electrolysis b/c when Na &cl are not discharged we're not gain our goal b/c our goal is to separate + ve &-ve ion please explain it for me am so confused..

The link of website that you have provided is very useful. I have a question to you. The electrochemical series at your website for anion varies from book to book. I have a couple of books and one of the series of a book matches yours but the other one doesn't. What can be the probable reason for such discrepancy ?

actually carbon dioxide is just gas aqueous has to be a solution
